My sister's boyfriend had an ingrown toenail and used a drop of
peppermint on it and said it took care of the redness and the pain. He
also noticed that after several uses, he was able to removed the
ingrown nail himself and seeing a podiatrist. I don't know that this
will work for everyone, but that's what happened to him. I guess it
would depend on how infected it is. Good luck!
