[Everything doTERRA] Re: oils & animals

I'm pretty new to doTerra and was thrilled that I could use them on my animals, because I have a cat with a skin issue from a bite of some sort from one of our lovely desert creatures. She had a nickle size patch of hair missing and was that way for over a year. I did a ton of research and asked a lot of questions before trying some oils on her. I found out right away that Melaleuca is dangerous for cats. So I used On Guard, lavender, Frankincense and olive oil(because I had not gotten coconut oil yet). I used this blend on her once a day for a few days. I was amazed when i noticed her hair was starting to grow back! I would always suggest doing research and asking questions if you are not sure about something!

I received this email from someone who purchased a kit from me. Anyone have experience with animals that could help? Thanks so much, Jenny

So I used a formula on my cat that was suggested and it caused a severe inflammation cost me $110 vet bill. The formula said to use Melaluca and that is toxic to cats. Oregano was suggested to and that also is not good either. Haven't blogged this yet but I intend to. Misinformation is a hazard and so many raves about doTERRA it should also be known about any drawbacks.
