After having a tonsilectomy/adenoidectomy my 14 year old daughter's platelet count dropped, primarily due to all of the acetaminophen I think, causing petchiae on her lower legs and feet. Seven days later she had arthroscopic knee surgery. Her platelet count remained stable but the rash got much, much worse covering her entire lower leg. I've been applying pepermint and lemon to the bottom's of her feet, deep blue to her knee for aches and swelling, and frankincense to the rash. I'm a newbie, so I don't have many oils to work with. Can someone tell me what else I might use in order to not only speed up the healing time on the rash but prevent it from occuring on the other leg in a couple of weeks when she has her other knee done.
Thank you! - Annie
