I just watched the Dog Whisperer and he put lavender on his palms and rubbed them together, then he merely let the dog smell the lavender. It didn't look like he applied it at all but merely waved his hands over the dogs body without touching him after the dog first smelled his hands (kind of like how we cup our hands and breathe it in). I looked really hard and it looked like doTERRA's lavender bottle :-) Pretty cool to watch how it calmed this super hyper dog which barked constantly and chased his tail non stop and had been doing it for 6 years! He of course used other methods with that, but it was the first thing he did before anything else each time he came into the room where the dog was while he was training him to stop being so hyper. They now have a calm and 'normal' dog!
-- I'm going to definitely put it on a cotton ball or something for my cats next time they go to the vet to help calm them! I'm always super careful and wash my hands after messing with oils before I handle them because I don't want them cleaning themselves and ingesting anything that could be harmful to them. They also get the benefits of what I diffuse in the house, am trying to see if it clears up my one cat's allergies by keeping the air purified. I know for sure she hasn't sneezed nearly as much as she used to which is so cool!
Love working with these oils!!

My cat has never liked car rides, every time we go to the vet or I move and have to take her in her little carrier, she screams the entire ride and fights to get out. I just moved and have to take her in the car for a 30 mile ride, I'd love to calm her down or something with my oils so she doesn't have to suffer so much, I know it's a traumatic experience for her…. Has anyone had success with this issue? Thank you
