Re: [Everything doTERRA] Preferred Membership Questions

The woman I talked to when I called seemed very knowledgeable and said she has been one of the ones who work full time and started a few years ago and said that there have been changes so maybe that is why your situation was different. My sister in law who is still a new IPC and wants to work on her own signed up a friend as a preferred member saying it would be the best thing for her and she would save more and get to do what she does. I don't ever mention the preferred membership and have never had anyone ask about it. Once my sister in law listened to my husband she realized the position her friend got put in and what she is missing out on. This to me just shows how we are all in this together and need to help each other but sometimes when people want to go on their own it is not always the best thing when you still have a lot to learn. I will have been an IPC a year this coming April and I still have a LOT to learn and really appreciate everyone's help so thank you all and thank you Pat for confirming what I already was going on in regards to preferred membership..

Thanks!

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Missouri IPC's?

I live in Springfield and just became an IPC.  I enrolled under a lady from Ohio, where I am originally from, and am looking for people in Springfield or nearby, to connect with.  My e-mail address is rachael.shreve@gmail.com If you would like to contact me. :)  Thank you!

Hi,
I have been looking into doTERRA for about a year now.  Are there any IPC's in South Central Missouri?  I live in Texas County.  I have tried with no luck to contact several people, one of whom is in my area and I have to say that getting information is like pulling teeth.  I even called home office and contacted the one they recommended and nothing.  I got a packet of info and then nothing.  Haven't heard from them since.  It's been months and several emails later.  So here I sit looking for someone to answer questions and concerns.  I love essential oils and what they do both for myself and my 4 shih tzus.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

[Everything doTERRA] Exercise induced

So some back story! When my daughter was 11 months old, she had RSV and was hospitalized for 6 days. A few months later her cough still lingered and an allergist gave us 3 different prescriptions. I filled them all but never gave them to her. That's when I found dōTERRA and its seriously changed my life and hers! That was last June.

A few months ago we sprayed indoors for fleas (biggest mistake ever) and even though she was out of the house for an entire day (box said be gone 2 hours) she got pneumonia practically overnight and was hospitalized for 2 days.

Today the issue seems to be that day to day her breathing is normal and she seems healthy--- but when she runs around with her friends she starts to cough and has trouble catching her breath. Nothing horribly scary or anything. But it makes me think she has exercise induced asthma.

Since she's only 2.5 years old I really can't seem to get her to do a breathe cup and inhale like my hubby does. What can I do to strengthen her lungs? Does that make sense?

I've started diffusing Breathe each night and On Guard on her feet at least once first thing in the am. Thanks for any tips!

Re: [Everything doTERRA] cleansing crisis

Maybe if you can afford all that sugar and caffeine you can get the oils that you need? And I am really not trying to be snide or a smart aleck. But sometimes we put our priorities in the wrong place. You want to get well and it sounds like you do, then I would suggest the GX and PB first. Don't try to do the GX and the Zendocrine it just doesn't work well when you need to cleanse.

Hope this works out for you.

[Everything doTERRA] Preferred Membership Questions

Unless the rules have recently changed, what they told you isn't accurate. I signed up as a preferred member before I became an IPC. I was a preferred member for about 2 years. I did give a SS#. I know I did because when I went to join as an IPC I had trouble because my SS# was already assigned.
Also, I did all my orders online with my own Member number and password. I never had to go through my up line.

I just rub the oils right on her fur, they will go down the hair and into her skin. I also have a rollerball with Frankincense and coconut oil that I put on her paw daily (or when I remember!!)
Hope that helps,

My dog's success story!

A few months ago my husband and I started having the dreaded horrible conversations of is it time to put our wonderful dog "to sleep". She was in so much pain. She had been taking arthritis medication for some time, but as many medications do over time her organs couldn't take it anymore, they were shutting down. We had no choice but to take her off the medications, they were killing her. She had stopped eating and was vomiting often. She pulled thru the sickness and began eating again. But then she was in so much pain she cried just walking across the room the vet said there was nothing else we could give her. You could barely pet her and if you touched the wrong spot she would snap at you because it hurt her so bad. We were really worried she was going to hurt one of the kids that she so dearly loved and protects….not because she was mean, just because she was hurting so badly. I had just recently been introduced to doterra, not wanting to lose my best friend I grabbed my new box of oils and put deep blue with coconut oil on her back and legs. She immediately licked every last drop left on my hands. I did this twice a day for a week. She slowly stopped crying when she walked, she started wanting to be pet again. She jumped up on the couch in a week and within 2 weeks she was running and playing with the other dog in the backyard. I backed off and found she needed about 2-3 times a week over the next month. Then slowly we backed her off to putting that oil on her once a week. Now she has her own bottle of oil labeled "Sadie's Pain Oil" and when she wants it on she goes to the place on my dresser where that oil sits and she whines and waits for somebody to come in and put it on her.

Our Sadie also LOVES people food and has a bad habit of clearing the table any chance she gets. This causes some pretty stinky flatulence that can clear the entire family out of any room! So our Sadie also has a bottle of digestzen mixed with coconut oil. When she wants this oil she will lie at my feet and roll over to show me her belly. I can scratch her and tell her good dog and walk away. She will follow me thru the entire house rolling on her back every chance she can and she will not stop till you put her tummy oil on her. She promptly licks every drop left on my hands and goes to licking her tummy. She must know this is the best way to prevent being evicted to the backyard after enjoying a forbidden snack!

[Everything doTERRA] Essential Oils and the eyes

Hello,
My name is Robby and I work outside all year.  Especially this time of year when the leaves are falling and it's dry my eyes are constantly bombarded with dust and dried leaf particles.  We have been faithful doTERRA users for over a year now and I was telling my wife; "I sure wish doTERRA had eye drops.  Just thought I would put the question out there.  If anyone knows of a safe blend to try I'm willing.  I'm just not sure if oils in the eyes, like eye drops are even safe.  Thanks for your help.

[Everything doTERRA] Looking for IPC in the Sacramento area

Hello, I am an IPC in Manteca, CA and I have someone in Citrus Heights who is interested in learning more about doTERRA.  Is there a website I can find an IPC in her area to hook her up with?
Thank you,

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Menstral

My periods have been like that, I recently started using clary sage almost daily on my feet and ankles, pain went from 2 days of being useless (I'm 33 with a 5yo and 3yo) to still having pain but quite manageable, and I rubbed lavender on for that. My cycle also went back to what it was as a teen sans pill! As a teen, I started at about the same age as her and the Pill around 17. Agree that a candida cleanse could possibly be very helpful.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Pregnancy

Emily,
Too cool that Stephanie wrote you!  I purchased her book and it is SO valuable with LOTS of info!  You can also get it on Amazon too.  I have a 5 mo. old now and I used DigestZen a good amount for gas and bowel issues.  No probs!  I also use DigestZen on baby and my other kiddos.  These oils are FABULOUS!  Best wishes!

Thanks!!

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Menstral

I think that if she uses hormone balancing oils such as Clary Calm, Clary Sage, and/or Whisper consistently, then over time her body will improve. I would also think that doing a candida cleans may help and the LLV supplements. I bet you could blend them in a smoothie to help her get them down. Consistency is key.

[Everything doTERRA] cleansing crisis

I believe that I am in a cleansing crisis.  I started by using the lemon in water, unfortunately I didn't support myself with enough water and was still drinking caffeine.  I started having eczema on my hands and neck and then my lips blew up.  I have increased the water, cut out the caffeine, added vitamins E and C as well as doing the oil pull, and was doing better.  Unfortunately, in a poor lack of judgement, I had sugar, much more than I should have, for a few days in a row.  Now the area around my eyes are so puffy that it doesn't even look like me, and my eczema has flared back up.  I'm not sure what to do.  I have an order coming soon and have thought about Zendocrine or the GX Assist.  I can only afford one or the other.  Any thoughts?

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Aroma Lite

The Whisper does not run non stop for 9 hours.  It only has a 1 hour continuous cycle.  The longer times are intermittent.  I think that's important to point out.  If you want to run it all night by your bed, you do hear it cycling on and off (like the Ace).  Our Whisper (which my husband has used daily for over a year) has a loose part that rattles when we first fire it up.  It's been that way since the beginning, but if we tap or giggle it, the rattling stops.  It's gotten a bit worse lately.   He still loves it.  We have a couple cheaper Spamist type ones too.  We seriously use them all.  They all have different functions.

The Aroma Lite is superior because it truly runs 4 hours continuous. My only complaint is the directions say use 5 drops.  For a much larger water reservoir than the Lotus, 5 drops is too light a scent.  We put 5-6 in the Lotus.  We bumped it to 10 drops for the Aroma Lit, which given the increase in the time length seems very reasonable (by a factor of 4) and we were happy with the scent dispersal.  So just FYI!

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Labyrynthitis is there an oil for this?

Not an oil solution, but I think a Chiropractor can help.

On Oct 30, 2013, at 1:30 PM, tamis@sorensen-family.net wrote:

 My friend wrote the following:

I have officially been diagnosed with Labyrynthitis. The ENT doctor thinks it was caused by a Herpes virus (not that kind of herpes virus) that came from my mouth. I was very dizzy and throwing up for 3 days. Now I am just dizzy and can't hear anything from my left ear. The ringing is so loud that it interferes with my hearing in my right as well. About 5 days after my ear started acting up I had acute blurry vision in my left eye and severe eye pain the next day. When I just had the blurry vision I was convinced I had a tumor so I was actually relieved to have the eye pain the next morning. Turns out, the prednisone I was on, dropped my immune system and allowed the virus to travel to my eye. I still have blurry vision, but my eye pain is gone. Both of these things should completely clear up, but may take 6-8 weeks.

Is there anything I can suggest for him?

[Everything doTERRA] excess of estrogen

Estrogen dominance can be caused by many things. Some of which include environmental toxins, food toxins, excess stress, candida, and parasites.
Does the person use Teflon cookware? Pesticides on food? Unhealthy diet rich in refined carbs and sugar? Stressful job or home life?
I think that part of dealing with this problem is reducing the toxic load. And then I'd choose to do some cleanses, get more rest, deal with stress properly, and use essential oils that encourage balance, healthy adrenal function, and healthy endocrine function.
Dr Hill made a training webinar about this problem. You can find it on the .me website. Look under hormone balance.

[Everything doTERRA] Using oils while breastfeeding

If you struggle with anxiety and depression the best way to use oils is aromatically. If you have a diffuser you can diffuse throughout the day if necessary. If you don't have a diffuser you can apply some to your hand and cup and inhale. I personally do not believe that this approach will affect your baby negatively. It may have a positive impact on the baby since he/she will also smell the oils. Also, babies are highly intuitive. They know when you are anxious and it affects them. Calming yourself will be very beneficial for both of you.
As for other oils, I think it varies from baby to baby. If you take a particular oil internally and you baby is visibly affected by it, then just know not to use that oil again while breast feeding.
I would personally choose not to cleanse during this time.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Advice on mixing oils

There are times when making a blend that depending on the oils you use could change the science of the oils. Just be sure you are okay blending those oils before doing so. I have attached a very brief paper on blending, it is quite a science but I think you would be fine to blend what you are suggesting, I would put it together this way:

10 drops Frankincense
8 drops each of lavender and peppermint
and if you want to add Fractionated coconut oil do so, but it really should not be needed unless you are sensitive to the oils and then I would add 15 drops.

Don't shake this blend just turn it over a few times gently.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Grover's Disease

I would start the LLV with DDR Prime capsules to get the body in balance. After at least 30 days of these I would then do a Candida Cleanse, starting out slowly at first and building up until you can do the full protocol. Your body can heal itself if given the correct tools.

Has anyone used oils to treat Grover's Disease?  It is a chronic skin rash on back, upper thighs and sometimes chest.  It can be dormant or flare up and becomes very itchy.  Normally it is treated with steroids but there is no known cure.  Any ideas?

Thank you so much Pat.
Yes it is hard, but not as hard as for a mother, Maybe someone has great experiences with this that they could share. I can pass that word to her mother (my lovely daughter).

I haven't noticed questions of helping with oils for Junior Rheumatory Arthritis.
Would you have advice for a young child already showing signs of skeletal changes. Fingers becoming deformed and teeth structure changing.
This young girl has been having strong medication which is causing effects to her system.
I would like to give her parents information which is known to help.
Please lets discuss this topic. Thank you, Fa
