[Everything doTERRA] Re: How do you spend your points?

I just cashed 600.5 points to get all of the rest of the oils I didn't have (BETTER THAN CHRISTMAS, BABY!! Between the promotions they had last month, the points I used, and the commissions I cashed in to help pay for my order, I received well over $800 in oils for $110 out of pocket. w00t w00t!), so now my collection is complete and all I have to do is replenish every month. I was having a hard time getting everything because we use so much of the oils on a daily basis that my orders had to be used to replenish what we needed, so it was nice to have the points to use for the items I didn't necessarily NEED. But I must say...Having a complete collection has been AWESOME! I'm getting ready to have baby #4 and there are so many recipes calling for oils I wouldn't have had if I didn't do that!

My next plan is to get the skin care and hair care that I don't have. Either that or stock up on LLV.

On a side note, I'm all about stretching my dollar, so I didn't spend ALL of my points, just to the nearest 100 so as to maximize the $3-per-$100 service charge, but I also waited until I had a good amount saved up so I could also make the most of the shipping paid. Now that doterra has made it so you can combine your cashed-in LRP orders with your monthly LRP orders, that's not as much of an issue. But that's what I did. And yes, they do expire, but I still had a good 3 months before mine did, so saving up wasn't an issue. On a side note, if you haven't made it to 30% back yet, just you wait! Those points rack up fast and it's awesome! :)

Good luck spending yours! However you do it, it'll be fun. :)
