I have a sensitive chocolate lab. After his baths, I take olive oil and put about a tablespoon or so in my hand and a drop or lavender oil, then rub it into his coat while its wet. I massage it in to get to his skin. Dogs are much more sensitive to the oils and so you only need a fraction of what we use on humans. He loves the oils and it seems to help his skin.
