Thank you everyone for your suggestions. Last night I found that the frankincense helped me most with my breathing. After the 1st application, it was no longer like trying to breathe through water. I have continued to put it on today, with a longer duration between applications. When it started getting harder to breath again, I put it on more frequently.
At 11 pm last night, my arms broke out in hives all over my forearms. After muscle testing, I used patchouli on, and that was very soothing. It was very difficult to sleep as I kept having tingling feelings in my hands. My husband scrounged up some baby Benadryl, and I took that. It helped me sleep and the hives were almost gone this morning. My husband didn't get much sleep first because I was so restless and miserable, then because he kept checking on me to make sure the hives were reducing and that I could breathe.
A call to the doctor confirmed what you said, Heather, he thought it was an allergic reaction to what they gave me yesterday. He thought the lungs/breathing problems were "like hives" in my lungs.
I'm going to try the breathe and basil to keep the lungs healing. I keep putting franki on my chest. I feel like I've been run over by a truck, but I'm so much better than last night.
I' m thinking of putting more lemon in my water to try to flush out the steroids... but I'm not sure, as the doctor seemed to think the steroids were what kept the bad allergic affects from the iron away.
Thanks again for your help, and just a listening ear. It really helps to know other oilers are out there.
Thanks,
Denise
