In addition to the oils/DT products listed below, I suggest oral grapefruit seed extract. Dianne Craft, CNHP, suggests that most of us have an overgrowth of yeast/fungus and harmful bacteria because of antibiotic use. She is not anti-antibiotic, but she feels strongly that antibiotic usage needs to be counterbalanced by reseeding the gut with beneficial flora and clearing fungus. She suggests probiotics (beneficial bacteria) along with the grapefruit seed extract (anti-fungal). You can find grapefruit seed extract tablets at the health food store. I use Nutrabiotic brand. For kids and those who can't swallow tabs, you can order paramicrocidin capsules from diannecraft.org. The capsules are virtually tasteless and so can be emptied into milk, yogurt or juice. Note: I'm not affiliated with Dianne Craft and do not receive any benefit from recommending her. I've just found her advice to be helpful.
