Re: [Everything doTERRA] Toddler Ingested Terra Shield

Honestly, I don't worry about it at all. My toddler has been into the oils dozens of times. The biggest consequences has been the hotter oils, like Holiday Joy (in his mouth) and cassia (on his torso). I just very liberally douse the spot with coconut oil, wipe it off, more coconut oil as many times as I think it's needed. It's not FUN when it happens, but it's not scary either. All pain and irritation has gone within an hour.

My toddler loves applying oils on himself - his stomach, his head, his feet, the back of his neck - and will go through great trouble to obtain the oils. This usually involves climbing heights and a "he's being too quiet" moments. :)

I wouldn't worry a drop about TerraShield, but I'm kinda relaxed about the oils.

Blessings,
Leah

My friend's almost 2 yr old may have gotten some Terra Shield down her throat (found the baby holding the bottle and was opened).  I told her to push the liquids and just keep an eye on her.  I know it's a proprietary blend, so we don't know all the ingredients, and I figured that since our oils are CPTG, if a little got down her throat, she should be okay.  What do you all think?

Thanks!
Nicole
