I always recommend Frankincense, Helichrysum, Balance, and On Guard for someone who has had a stroke. I tell them to apply to base of skull and along spine 2x daily. I recommend these oils because the Frankincense can get past the blood brain barrer (sp?) and Helichrysum because it is amazing for healing brain injuries (we used these oils for my son when he was born with some injuries from being stuck. His poor head was huge! The swelling went down within 24 hours.) Balance because it's name speaks for itself and On Guard just to help with immune system building. I recommend On Guard a lot for someone who has been in the hospital and given antibiotics and other heavy drugs that can compromise the immune system. I hadn't thought about the Aroma Touch Technique. Thanks Pat! I'll start recommending that one too.
