[Everything doTERRA] Re: Friend dealing with violent death of husband.

There may not be opportunity to muscle test (especially the daughter
who may reject offers of help right now).
I would suggest supplying a 8hour diffuser. Show the mum know how
easy it is to use. Provide a couple of suitable oils and promise to
check in with them, keeping it low key.
Assure the mum that almost all behaviour and acting out at this early
stage is considered "normal".
Of course we want everyone to be safe, so being mindful for dangerous
and compromising behaviour is appropriate.
I feel that the diffuser is a non-invasive way of supporting the
entire family.

Others will be more experienced than I - but at the appropriate time -
I would suggest ATT session for the mum. You may need to source an
experienced consultant to do this - so that you get to remain in your
role of friend, rather than professional support. (I say this to
protect your friendship - to ensure that if their is a release of
emotion/grief that the consultant is able to remain professional).
Again - take your lead from others more experienced that I, but I
expect that this will not occur too early in the piece - rushing the
grief journey will only complicate it.

My thoughts and prayers are with you as you support your friend.
Remember to use your oils to protect and nourish yourself during this
challenging time.
Regards, Cherylynn
