[Everything doTERRA] Re: Oil of the week: Frankincense!

My daughter who was 11, had a thyroglossal cyst form. This is a duct
in your throat that fills with fluid. I started applying frankincense
to it before we knew what it was. You find a lump and hope it's not
the big "c". So frankincense just made sense.

It started to shrink right away within the first week. We used a
roller with a blend of half frank and half FCO. I had my daughter
apply it whenever she or I thought about it. Every couple of hours.
It shrank more slowly as we got lazy about application. We added
cypress and were able to eliminate in about two months. By the end
only applying morning and night with maybe a 25% blend.

Frankincense is one of my favorites. Any cuts, burns, wounds.
Minimizing scaring, speeds healing. Used it on Skin tags around eyes.
Some have gone completely. Applied undiluted carefully. Morning and
night. Still have some bumps but I don't think these are the same
thing. Lightened up old scar on my arm.

I know i have used it for other things, but I'm drawing a blank.
