[Everything doTERRA] Free Product of the month!

Last night I was lucky enough to attend Justin Harrison's Convention
Tour in Albuquerque. It was amazing! He told us that the free
product for 125 PV LRO for December is .......................

wait for it............................

Ok, I won't keep you waiting any longer. It is a 5 ml bottle of White
Fir oil with a terracotta snowflake that you can add oils to for a
personal diffuser. Is that cool or what? I was also lucky enough to
win a bottle of Deep Blue and I also won a Foaming Face Wash in a
raffle. Did I say it was amazing? He is very funny and a great
speaker. If you ever get the chance to see him, jump on it!
P.S. He and wife are expecting another boy.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: chronic diarrhea

Thank you all, that's along the lines I was thinking. She is very
eager to start with the digestzen. Would you recommend a drop or two
in water to drink throughout the day, or with meals, as well as
topically? I also hope she will try the LLV.
She will be starting on S&S - will this affect the digestzen at all?

[Everything doTERRA] Re: loyalty rewards

You can get any oil or blend as long as the PV is the same amount as
the cost. If the PV is different from the cost, then the company will
not let you use your reward points to redeem for that product. Also,
there is a $3 redemption fee and you also have to pay for the
shipping.

The product of the month club is separate from loyalty rewards. Each
month, the company will announce the product of the month. You will
automatically get this product for free, added to your order, as long
as your total order is 125PV or higher.

I hope that helps!

[Everything doTERRA] Cyst/tumor on neck

This is a message from my IPC. Any comments and suggestions
appreciated. Thank you. Janyce

My grandson has a growth on his neck, quite large by his windpipe, it
may be a cyst, not sure, it's probably 3 inches long….. he has had
this for at least a year noticeably, has had a sonogram done by
kasier, they say it's nothing to be of concern. I would like to try
the oils to see if I can reduce it, I have been putting frankinsence
directly on it, is this the correct way to treat if it maybe a tumor
or a swollen gland?

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Totally awful sinus headache! Suggestions please!

It sounds to me if you do have an infection :( I would take 2-3 drops
of Oregano in a capsule every hour until you felt some relief. I
would also drink lots of water with lemon in it to help clear out the
infection.

It is so hard to try to take care of ourselves when we have little
ones also to care for - no sick days for motherhood! Hope you feel
better soon!

[Everything doTERRA] Re: doTERRA via YL

Hi, Sabine!

Welcome to doTERRA - so glad that you are enjoying your oils!!

The rivalry can be troublesome. I would not argue against any other
product/company but explain why you feel in love with doTERRA and
explain also the extensive testing, CPTG standard and your own
personal experiences. Try to create experiences for your clients with
doTERRA - give out samples, let people see the diffuser working, smell
the oils, etc.

You can view the rivalry as helpful - they have done some of the
ground work for you and exposed people to essential oils that have not
experienced them before. Once people in Austria start experiencing
doTERRA they will be committed to doTERRA just like you were :)

Best of luck - ENJOY!

[Everything doTERRA] Knee pain worse with apple cider vinegar?

I have knee pain which has been increasing for months (I have severely
fallen arches and had a knee injury from falling while hiking years
ago). I got the Dr. Scholl's custom fit orthotics, which seemed to
make a significant difference and improved both knee and back pain.
The past few weeks it's been getting worse again, which is expected
with the cold and storm systems. I woke up today with severe knee
pain, increased grinding, and difficulty straightening it (which
freaked me out goo). While thinking about what could be causing it I
realized the only thing that has changed is that I added a few
teaspoons of organic apple cider vinegar to my daily water for the
past 3 days, which is interesting because it's touted as a great joint
pain reliever.

I am wondering if anyone else has had a reaction like this? My gut
tells me that this is a detox symptom (I have also taken LLV for the
past 4 months), but I need to figure out how to deal with the pain and
get mobility back while it's detoxing; I've got 4 small kids to run
after.

Thanks

[Everything doTERRA] Skin reaction... allergic reaction

Last week my daughter (2 yrs old) started getting a rash on her
shoulder. The next day it moved down under her arms and covered her
sides completely. I took her to the doctor and they said it was
eczema. They gave us a light steriod cream and said to just do it a
few days. After the first day I was just feeling Off... I'm pregnant
and thought that maybe by applying the cream, it was giving me a weird
side effect and made me worried so I stopped the treatment. I looked
up eczema on this site and found some alternative remedies, such as
virgin coconut oil, melaleuca and lavendar. I started doing this and
noticed it almost irritated the skin more. The skin looked raised and
swollen. I did thick creams that were free of fragrance. Then I
noticed she started breaking out on her legs, just above the back of
the knees.
Last night, she was up for a few hours, unable to sleep because the
itch was too much to handle and nothing was helping. I took her back
to a different doctor that has helped me with a rash in the past and
he prescribed a light oral steroid so that I would not have any
reactions to it and said it looked like she was having an allergic
reaction. Call me a hypocondriac but I haven't been able to give her
this medication yet :( I worry that it may not be good for her,
especially for the course of 7 days. My husband insists that I give
it to her tonight, but the side effects have insomnia in there and I
don't think it will help her sleep.
I don't know what to do. I want my baby girl to be well. She seems
okay throughout the day, but the night time is when she really
stuggles. Help!!

THANK YOU, PAT!  You really are such a sweetheart.  I do have to remember that a year ago I would've thought someone was a little whacky if they'd suggested to do frank & the supplements for cancer!  :)

Its hard to walk away from these kind of situations. My suggestion would be to just be a listening ear for your daughter-in-law. When people are faced with cancer they put all of their trust in their doctors and our medical profession, on the whole, have no idea about alternative methods.
I will be here for you and her if needed.

Thank you for all the research you've done for me with Doterra.  (I even sent her w/the LLV product info sheets & bottles this am + briefly tried to tell her some testimonials esp about the frank & LLV.)  The Dr. referred us to the Nutritionist to check on it so we had an appointment with her while we were there.  She looked at all the ingredients and felt pretty strongly that chemo patients should be very careful what they take.  She said many things interfere with the chemo breaking down the cancer cells and antioxidents tend to interfere with chemo killing the cells it needs to.   I can't even take it (nor the frankincense) on my week off because the chemo is working that week too.  The body (at the point my cancer is) doesn't recognize the cancer cells as bad so the antioxidents fight anything trying to get rid of them.  She gave us a website that she uses at the hospital where you can put in ingredients and it will tell you what they do and when you shouldn't be taking them.
She is a sweet lady and it's so frustrating that she's listening to all the drs, etc on this.  My heart even sank when she walked in the door & said:  they dr was very pleased w/how well I'm doing.  My 1st thought was:  IT'S THE FRANKINCENSE!!!!   (By the time she started the chemo pill, she'd probably been doing frank on the bottom of her feet 2/daily for 3-5 weeks & this was the 1st appt w/the dr since her petscan showed the cancer back Nov 1.  I don't remember exactly when she started the frank.)  I know she is sincere about thanking me, but doesn't this just want to make you scream?!!!

She's obviously still in our prayers + I left 15 pages of info/testimonials from this site on the counter.  I'm sure hoping she or her daughter pick it up & read it & that some of the thoughts people shared w/impact her!!!  :)

I know I will run into situations like this & I need to just learn to let go but boy is it hard when you feel like something could be life or death.  :(  Pat, I really, really appreciate all of your input & time.  I didn't even get a chance to tell her that she could call you, Pat.

We suggest that they not use the oils during chemo due to the constituents of the chemo killing everything in its track that is good and bad. The LLV won't hurt her and could possibly help, she still needs nutrition.
Her magic bullet would be to do the complete protocol starting now. If she needs to talk to someone have her call me.

RE: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Immortelle & improved eyesight

Pat, do you know if Dr Hill applied it once or twice/day?  I've just been doing it once/day but maybe I should increase to 2 times/day.  Also, do you know how long it took him?  I know it can be different for each person.  I've only been doing it 2-3 weeks.  I just roll the bottle in a circle, then rub it in.  I guess that's ok.  Also, the residue that I've had on my fingers, I've rubbed on my mole on my face.  Do you think that will take the mole away or does it need to be straight frank?

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Totally awful sinus headache! Suggestions please!

Whenever I get hints of a sinus infection, I rub melaleuca over my
sinuses. It clears it up very quickly.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Vulvodynia

My friend sent this morning...
Really no itching, but all the time burn. Kind of like when you burn your finger on the burner and the water hits it and you remember, yep I burned it. That is what I feel all the time.  I go at 3 to ortho and Monday I have a consult w/ a doc for a nerve block to possibly be done as soon as next fri the 9th.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Totally awful sinus headache! Suggestions please!

Hi, I sympathize because those are awful! I just had one myself and
this is what I did. I don't have a neti because this method works and
I am too cheap to buy one... I use salt (sea salt is best but if you
don't have it, regular works too) in the bottom of a glass, add two
drops of melaleuca and then about 1/2-3/4 cup of water. I swirl it
around to help it mix up. Dip the tip of a spoon in it and if it
tastes mildly salty, you are good to go. Pour a small amount into a
flexible plastic cup. I just make a "pouring spout" the best I can w/
the cup and then pour some in one nostril (I always pour into my left
side for some reason). I then tip my head back and slightly to the
right slowly and block the left nostril w/my finger. Then, rotate
your head slightly forward and drippo! Out it comes from the right
nostril. The melaleuca does burn a bit but it was not at all
unbearable. I left the glass on the counter w/foil over it so that I
could keep pouring small amounts each time I did it. I did that 3
times a day and by the next day, I was quite a bit better. I
continued it for two more days after that and was all good. I was
also using layered topically on sinus area on face: fco, breathe,
rosemary and then lime over the top. It really helped me! If anyone
on here knows why putting Melaleuca in your nose like that is bad,
please chime in quickly as I don't want to pass along bad info. It
did work for me though!

Subject: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Reactive Attachment Disorder

Thank you for your thoughts and ideas.  I recently got Vetiver and
tried it yesterday on my son.  one drop vetiver = the best day we have
had in two months at least.  AMAZING!!!!

Here is the Peaceful Child Blend - copied this from another post . . .

This blend creates a deep, languid calm; has sedative properties;
frees the nerves from excessive tension which allows a person to
spiritually center themselves. It nourishes and protects the brain
and nervous system. It restores feelings of hope and mental strength
and promotes a positive outlook on life. It eases the pain behind
anger and quiets the mind chatter.

The blend contains Vetiver, Ylang Ylang, Frankincense, Clary Sage &
Marjoram - with the Vetiver making up a little more than 50% of the
blend.

I've been hearing this blend may come out at the Convention. If it
doesn't, I'll share the blend recipe with anyone who is interested -
but, it's about $240 wholesale cost to buy all the individual oils
needed. So, let's hope it comes out as a blend with a more affordable
& typical 'blend' cost.

As an additional note - I use the blend for my own stress & anxiety
and my daughters therapist personally uses the blend (and loves it)
and diffuses it in her office while seeing clients and sees a notable
difference in her ADD/ADHD clients.

Okay, here is the Peaceful Child blend recipe...

85 d Vetiver (1/3 bottle)
30 d Ylang Ylang
20 d Frankincense
15-17 d Clary Sage
10 d Margoram
35 d FC0 (optional)

According to doTERRA's price scale per drop of each respective oil in
the blend, the wholesale cost is about $25.35 per 'batch' w/o the FCO
and $29.55 per 'batch' w/the FCO - quite affordable - it's just the
initial purchase of all the oils that's pricey. I have larger amber
bottles I bought from Aromatools and I triple the recipe to go ahead
and use the full bottle of Vetiver - honestly, it's mostly because I'm
too impatient to wait for 85 drops of Vetiver!! Yes, I need this
blend too - HA!!

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Reactive Attachment Disorder

Thank you for your thoughts and ideas. I recently got Vetiver and
tried it yesterday on my son. one drop vetiver = the best day we have
had in two months at least. AMAZING!!!!

Here is the Peaceful Child Blend - copied this from another post . . .

This blend creates a deep, languid calm; has sedative properties;
frees the nerves from excessive tension which allows a person to
spiritually center themselves.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Totally awful sinus headache! Suggestions please!

I have had major sinus issues (had sinus infections all the time before I started using oils) in the past, and my latest remedy that has worked without fail is to massage Wild Orange into my sinuses when I first start feeling congested and my head is starting to hurt.  I rub it on the sinus areas, right above my eye brows, and also right below my eyes by the nose (don't get it to close to your eyes).  You can also rub it down the ridge of your nose.  After awhile, my headache pain goes away, along with my sinus problems.  One thing I like about Wild Orange is that it isn't hot like some of the other oils.  I would suggest putting it on about every hour until the symptoms go away.  Once you have a full-blown sinus infection, I am not sure how well this works.  I have found that many of these oils work really great after applying them when the symptoms just start.  Its hard to believe that something so simple like that works, until you try it.  I hope it works for you too.
