I agree with Gin on the warning - I take my last lot of LLV with my dinner, then take my levothyroxin right before bed, because I know it's going to be at least 7 hours before I eat breakfast.

They really don't want you to even eat for 30 minutes after taking it. I wait 30 minutes but if she has a slow metabolism up to an hour. I believe the warning refers to calcium which blocks the absorbtion. The only other things I can think of are cabbage and cauliflower. (And she should take with food).
I've been taking thyroid meds for almost 20 years and have seen at least a dozen specialists and none have said 4 hours.
