Re: [Everything doTERRA] Dogs - 4th of July Fireworks

Those oils are all great and if it came to it, i still wouldn't get a prescription, personally. You can find natural calming treats that have lavender in them at stores like smith's. I would try that before a prescription. I have used them for my chihuahua and they dont knock him out at all but he is more content. They have some for bigger dogs as well.

What would be recommended to calm a dog down for the upcoming
fireworks holiday?  She currently goes and gets a prescription from
the vet and is very interested in the oils.  I believe I have heard of
Lavender diluted with coconut oil on the paws?  And maybe TerraShield
calms them down?

If anyone has a blog or a website or books on Dogs & Essential Oils,
that would be beneficial to me to learn the safety of applied to dogs.

Thank you all!
