Here is what she just told me, hope that additional info will help:

I was never diagnosed with anything. I finally got the official "arthritis" diagnosis earlier this year. Basically, I grew too fast. I was 5'8" in 7th grade. My knees didn't keep up with my growth. My doc now has told me that no one has been able to figure out how to deal with my problem. Many girls have it...no one knows how to fix it.

has she gone to a medical doctor for this? what do they say it is?/do they even know?
