I am submitting this question for Suzzane. Hopefully someone can help her.
Thanks. rlj
I have a 10 year old male cat that has begun licking constantly. We have
taken him to the vet for steroid shots which stop the itching/licking, but
have the potential to cause diabetes in cats. We have an ozone maker in our
house, and we have tried up to 20 different foods; some probably healthy
enough for me to eat! LOL! In case it is a flea allergy we also use a
monthly dose of Advantage. There is a possibility that it is stress related,
as we have a 10 month old kitten in our house that is a wild man, and we
have done some remodeling in the last year. Does anyone have any experience
with this type of situation with their cat, or can anyone offer any
suggestions? I really want to help him feel better. Thank you.
