If his body metabolizes the oils quickly perhaps diffusing would be of benefit since that would be continuous exposure to the oils for several hours. Without knowing what all she has tried I don't know what to recommend, other than I've read that Lemon Essential oil is a favorite of autistic children.

My grandson is 3 years old and may have light autism. He does not sleep. He might sleep 3 to 4 hours a night but is up roaming the house, just standing leaned up against his bed or his mom's bed or just sitting in the floor. She has tried numerous oils and recipes and none phases him. She is exhausted. She has a 2 year old and a 6 year old also who she home schools so she is at her wits end. Anyone have any suggestions?
