I met a young woman in her late 20's today. She had her thyroid removed completely a few years ago when it was discovered she had thyroid cancer on one side. She and her doctor opted to remove the entire thyroid because of the fear of spreading. She was in her 2nd trimester with a child and did not want a second surgery if the other side of her thyroid ended up with cancer. A very good doctor has managed to keep her hormonal levels in a good place. She still desires to switch to more natural means. I explained that would involve working with her doctor to move in that direction. I am at a complete loss on this one. I know oils that help the thyroid...but NO thyroid? My knowledge is insufficent on this one. If there is anyone with access to Dr Hill's ear or has experience in this area, I would be most grateful for more education. Thank you!
