I wonder if adding a bit of Metamucil (the unflavored one) to his food might help? Maybe start with 1/4 teaspoon? Please do not use essential iols on your cat until you get some guidance by someone with expertise, as cars livers do not metabolize like humans or dogs do and the oils can be quite toxic. I'm still trying to figure it out. I have heard absolutely no metaluca or citrus oils under any circumstances. I do use the Metamucil to help my 12 year old boy cat errr...be regular. It works quite well and he has NO gas. I'd know, he is almost glued to my hip. Best wishes.
