I have a seven year old with problematic teeth. Her teeth are very close and flossing is difficult and therefore often 'forgotten' while with her dad every other week. She has developed serious cavities between all of her molars. One was pulled and a space maintainer put in until the permanent teeth come in with a regular filling in the neighbor tooth. One other set were both filled. The other sets both had one tooth that needed a 'baby' root canal. All of this work was done before I learned about essential oils and before I had 'final say' on healthcare issues. Now one of the teeth with a root canal has a 'pimple' on the gum ans the neighbor tooth appears to have a hole in it. I've been applying On Guard with a q-tip morning and night and she started using the OG toothpaste this week. I can get the gum looking nice just in time to switch to dads, then a week later when she comes home we're back to square one. And the On Guard is spicy for her. I'd like to introduce her to oil pulling in hopes that it will clear the infection. These are all still baby teeth and I'm hoping that getting her started on a healthier path now will help ensure stronger teeth when the permanent teeth come in. Any additional information or advice would be very appreciated.
