They give you steady energy. Don’t take them at bed time. They will keep you up. I have heard of people using them to stay  up at night and get work done, or be able to attend a later event. It is suggested 1-4 a day. But start with 1 the 4 is for athletes. I take one in the morning and then if I need more in the afternoon I take 1 more.
