When a stuffy head does not respond to Breathe I like to try lemon, lavender, & peppermint to make use we don't have a histamine reaction happening. I also like to sleep with a very sick babe and reapply the oils each time they awaken. I like to pre dilute oils in a separate bottle so its easy to reapply at night. My youngest I have done this with was 4. But we have gotten rid if croup in a single night. Also keeping a diffuser with breathe in it going can be very helpful.
