[Everything doTERRA] Re: Partial Finger Amputation

Tami, I agree with Pat's protocol.  About 3 years ago I cut the tip of my finger nearly off.  It was hanging by a sliver of skin.  I ran to the bathroom to get the gauze and
bandage, then to another room to get my oils.  I just grabbed the Helichrysum, put one drop on it, directly on the open wound, taped it up and immediately the bleeding
stopped and so did the throbbing pain!  That was on a Monday morning.  Tuesday night I was teaching an oil class.  I talk with my hands and in the process I hit my
finger on a table which made it start bleeding again.  I cleaned it, put another drop of Helichrysum and bandaged it again.  By Friday it had completely grown back
together with hardly a scar.  There was still some nerve pain if I touched it, but within a couple of weeks even that went away, and to this day, I have a hard time even
finding the scar.  If it had not been for the oil I would have needed several stitches.

Yesterday My 15 year old son cut a small portion of his finger off with a table saw. Luckily it didn't take the entire finger but just the top edge with no bone involvement.
We did take him to the ER to make sure he was ok and they could only wash and bandage it.
I've been using oils for a few years now but have never used them for something as serious as this.
I've heard lavender is great for this but want to know if there is a particular regimen or other oils to promote healing.
Do I use them neat on such an open wound or dilute.
I also need something for pain. He's pretty sore and doesn't want to use Vicodin.
Thanks in advance for help!
Tami
