You can use Frankincense and White Fir (this especially good for bone healing). You an apply on the area not being wrapped. The oil will go to the area need it via the skin. My friend's 70 years old mom have similar situation as you. Just apply it every hour and heal 50% quicker compare the similar patient she met in the hospital. She just follow her body and apply it when she felt need it. She stopped one day when she see the rash come from the skin. And she really recover at that time. Hence the body no longer need the oil.
