Changing my dog's diet to a food recommended at the pet store worked wonders for my cocker spaniel. He's only had one ear infection since the switch, where before they were a frequent occurrence. I've tried melaleuca and purify, and he didn't like them. But when I used diluted Basil on his ear flap, he loves it. In fact, he "asks" for it when I have the oil box out. The last time I had an earache I found Basil was my favorite, too. :)
