I too have a Rainbow and like other water diffuser’s it will disperse the oils so that the house smells nice, but it does not nebulize the oils so there is not a lot
of therapeutic benefit. Just my opinion
I don’t like wasting my oils either. I feel from what I have read about diffusion that it is kind of a waste to use them in that way
Depending on what your goal is

Works fine, however the oils slightly etch the water tank. Not a problem for me because mine is so old, and I love the oils while I clean. I use Purify, sometimes On Guard and sometimes Wild Orange or Citrus Bliss.
