My husband has 2 massive pressure sores, one on each hip. He had a massive bladder infection, and I finally got him into the hospital. They pumped him full antibiotics of every kind, he's swollen from the fluids. My worry right now is that he is on IV antibiotics, and they are the same ones he had in the hospital. In the right hip, he developed MRSA. I'm using On Guard in there, and the wound doc said it looked wonderful, keep doing what I'm doing. I am, and that hip isn't bothering me. The left hip has horrible tunneling (about an inch in now) and the bone is showing-ball joint. He has proteus, which is gram negative, strep and e coli. I know that cinnamon is good for e coli and gram positive strains of bacteria, but what takes care of gram-negative critters? I have to get this under control, and I don't think that the 2-week antibiotic stint is going to be helping much. I've been inspired to use the On Guard, geranium, frankincense, lavender, helichrysum when I get more, and tonight, lemon. Does anyone else have any ideas? He's going back on the Wellness pack tomorrow (he's been to sick to take them for 2 weeks), so I know that will help tremendously, along with a cleansing diet. I don't want to keep giving him vancomyacin and rosefin (I don't even care how you spell it). If I do, he'll end up with a massive yeast infection, which may start the whole thing over again. I know those who are experts on here aren't doctors that treat anything. Info is all I need, and I'm not looking to sue anyone : ) Thank you in advance!
