I guess what bugs me the most is that so many doctors are NOT open minded and want to push meds so fast. Just the mention of a holistic or homeopathic remedy seems to really make them mad. Anytime I have ever mentioned an herb or oil to any doctor I had, they were quick to shove it under the rug.
One day, I hope more people will try more natural remedies and realize how amazing they are and that they really do work! :)

I agree. Western medical doctors have their place. In my opinion that means for sewing people up after accidents and other emergencies and sometimes for testing. Considering the alarming statistics of how many deaths are caused by doctors and prescription meds (all of which are toxins), I stay clear of them completely. Hospitals are full of viruses and MRSA and who knows what else. Not exactly conducive to healing. Doctors of Chinese Medicine on the other hand know how to get the body to heal itself with the support of herbs and energy medicine like acupuncture. They can just look at your face, fingernails and take your pulse and figure out what's wrong. Back in the old days in China the doctor only got paid if he healed the patient. What a different way of thinking. Here the longer you stay sick the more the doctor earns! A pharmacist told a customer in line in front of my friend a couple weeks ago that the meds her doctor was prescribing didn't work! Only a 5% efficacy rate which is lower than placebo. Makes me wonder how society ever came to believe in the medical system at all. In Greek the word drugs or pharmacy is connected to witchcraft or sorcery. Don't take my word for it. Google it or look in a dictionary.When it comes to the medical system we MUST inform ourselves. Our body belongs to us while on this planet and we should not give our power over to other human beings. Self-education is crucial to health in the western world. Not one single person is born with a drug deficiency so why are so many people being drugged? Why do we destroy children's immune systems with vaccines before they are even developed? Etc. Done with my rant now, lol :)

I do think we need to be careful what we say on here though. Doctors have a lot of medical training but there isn't enough time in medical school to cover it all. I think that if they were even exposed to the idea of alternatives they'd eventually be more comfortable exploring it as a viable option. Maybe we can be the ones to introduce them to EOs. I recently moved to a new area and therefore have gotten new doctors for my family. I've had a variety of reactions from each of them. Doctors have their place and need to be respected just like we want to be respected.
