I've had an awful cough off and on for nearly a year. Last summer it got so bad and difficult to breathe that my husband took me to the ER thinking I had developed allergy induced athsma. The doctor said it was just caused by mucus running down my throat and irritating it, therefore causing a cough. I have been on several different nasal decongestants and cough syrups, and for the last week I have used lemon, lavender, onguard, peppermint, and breathe oils in an attempt to make it better. It is back and getting worse. Now we are suspecting pneumonia, except I don't have any other symtoms. No fever or green or yellow mucus, or anything. Does anyone have an idea of what might be wrong?--
