I have to use clary sage and vetiver together. I also so a bedtime routine because I have the same problem. Sometimes it doesn't work, but often it does.
I am pretty new to using essential oils. I have suffered terribly from anxiety and insomnia after my babies have been born. Definitely a postpartum depression issue. Before that I had never experienced either. My fourth child is now 1 and things have calmed down, but I have been so traumatized by these episodes that that fear and crazy feeling during the night creeps up on me every once in a while and recently . . .too often. I rely on sleeping pills (ambien) to get me out of the crazy spiral. I would love to not have to use it though.I have used lavender at night with little difference at all. I mean when I get worried/anxious about sleeping sometimes ambien doesn't even work. Is there something else I can try. What else could help me stay calm and knock me out?!--
