My sister is 4 weeks pregnant through IVF. They are being very careful about what she can eat and drink, more so than I think is warranted, but it is their much longed for baby!
She has been told to stay away from peppermint and ginger oils, teas and flavours, along with a host of other things. She has a bad back and usually uses an anti-inflammatory rub on it, but has been told to avoid this as well. I suggested Deep Blue for the pain, but she is scared of the peppermint. I also suggested DigestZen for the morning sickness (hasn't started yet, but I was very ill and so she is worried it will happen to her too), but she is scared of the peppermint and ginger.
Do any of you have any ideas for substitutes for pain and nausea which avoid peppermint and ginger?
