[Everything doTERRA] Re: Serious mosquito repellant

Wow, some good ideas. Mosquito don't get to me very much, but for my husband even DEET doesn't work. His job is to work with insects actually, fish, etc. One thing that works very well once you know about how mosquito "sniff" you out by your carbon dioxide, you will use something inside your body that "messes" with their carbon dioxide "detectors". This is GARLIC. Yes, nasty but we use when you are serious. It works sooooo well. Also for ticks and other "pest-ies". If they made Garlic oil it made burn you. But fresh Garlic Tea ( laughing as I recall it)  seemed to do it. Lasted for days. Take the tea a day before you are released to the swarm. (I'd say a clove to a cup of water, boiled first in a sauce pan) :) Garlic solutions are being used as a natural pesticide now....sold in some stores.

We are about to go to a family reunion in a place that has known cases of mosquitoes carrying West Nile Virus.   One of the things recommend is:

Oil of Lemon Eucalyptus* or PMD (Chemical Name: para-Menthane-3,8-diol) the synthesized version of oil of lemon eucalyptus

What do we have that could be used?   I know Terrashield is great stuff, but I also know of some who live in places where the skeeters are meaner than it can handle, and I really don't want to be their midnight snack this year.

Thanks in advance
