I have a stray cat that has come to call my place home more often than
not. Last year, when he first showed up he had a horrible cold which
affected his eyes and he could barely see. By summer when he allowed
me to take him to the vet, he was treated and has been well. This week
he presented symptoms of another cold. VERY congested, repeated
sneezing. I did not see anything addressing this situation so I
punted and wanted to report success.
I did avoid anything with pines or citrus as I read here.
After I put a drop of Frankenstein under my tongue, I put a tiny bit
more on my finger, rubbed it on the alternate hand finger and rubbed
it inside his ear's 1x per day.
When he was sleeping, I placed some Breathe on a small piece of paper
towel, or cardboard and placed it near his nose (not directly
underneath.) to create a mini diffuser. Sometimes in the early
morning he comes in to my room to snuggle. I grab my bedside bottle of
Breathe and he smells it and licks his nose. Then I put a drop on the
back of my hand and rest it near his face.
It has only been 3 days and he is greatly improved and the sneezing
has stopped. He rested deeply with the aid of the breathe, and sleep
helps us heal!
