Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: bipolar

Would love to share!   I learned to do green smoothies from green smoothie girl herself(Robyn Openshaw)...she has recipes, videos and other great stuff on her website at greensmoothiegirl.com

I'm not a recipe follower...more of a dasher, thrower, mix-it-upper, but here is basically what I do:

(note:  not all blenders will liquify raw greens...try it with yours first to see if it will.  I use a blendtec, Vitamix is also good, but I've heard of a few others who've been able to make it work with just a regular blender)
I also use the larger jar with my blendtec, so it makes more at a time.  I'm just too lazy or sometimes busy to make a fresh batch every single day...

2-3 cups water...alkaline if you have it
3-4 cups raw blueberries/strawberries/whatever berries  (I use the big frozen bag from costco) (when in season, I use fresh peaches for a treat)
several hands full of raw greens.  Probably about a half pound or so. Kale is best, but I usually just use spinach....the big bag from costco works for me.
3-4 bananas
@1/8 cup agave nectar
1/4-1/2 cup whole leaf aloe vera juice

Whir that all up until it is nice and smooth.  It will be purple/brown/green depending on what and how much of the berries you use.
If I'm feeling really industrious, I'll grind up some flax seed before I put the wet stuff in.
I've also added things like spirulina and different herbs, carrots, apples, peaches, raw almonds...whatever you feel like throwing in there is great.  Just play with it until you find something you'll enjoy.  This makes enough for 3 days for me, because I can't get my guys to touch it.  It looks like and has the consistency of sludge.  Once you realize how great you can feel (after possible initial cleansing), you'll be happy to make and drink it, and you'll develop a taste for it.
I'm thinking I may start adding some oils...maybe peppermint, cinnamon, etc...just for fun and added flavor.

Check out Robyn's website for lots of great tips and ideas and different recipes.   Go green!
