I have also heard of recharging energy. Rock salt or rock crystals (free of negative energy) can clear the energy of your oils. Ms Worwood has a section in her Fragrant Heavens book discussing the care of oils- handling, purification and storage.
I can relate to having the oils close by. I have been trying to find just the right travel/storage container for my oils and I just haven't found the one that vibes well with me. Once I have this, I will probably keep my oils close by at all times. I wonder how my fiancee would feel about me putting in bed with us? ;)
Thank you very, very much, Tami! Maybe some would say I'm splitting hairs, but if the oils were 3 or 4 feet away from the computer, is that ok? I don't want to put them totally away because I tend to forget what's out of sight--even though I know you said keep them out of even artificial light. I do keep most of my oils in the padded cases w/ the lids closed, though.
