[Everything doTERRA] fungal infection or cancer?

My friend was serving a church mission in the Mississippi Valley area
and needed to come home early when he was diagnosed with cancer after
finding lesions on his lungs with chest x-rays. After 2 months of
testing they don't know if it actually is cancer or maybe a fungal
infection (histoplasmosis) which is indigenous to that area of the
U.S. Is it being too aggressive to suggest oils before they get the
correct diagnosis and if not, does anyone have suggestions of what
protocol to use?
