I like the idea of Elevation and the mood matrix oils that Joanna mentioned if it is that severe. Happy to hear they have a diffuser where all in the room can benefit.

Also, Dr. Hill had a nice melissa blend he shared at convention and I think I remember him saying about 2-3 drops each of wild orange, peppermint and melissa. I mixed a blend up for a client in a 4-1-1 ratio which makes it much more affordable, has a great aroma and the melissa is still very recognizable.

Hope this helps; death is such an unnatural thing for us to have to deal with.
