Re: [Everything doTERRA]Floaters and Flashes/Posterior Vitreous Detachment

Thank you Brooke. You are so thoughtful, encouraging, and helpful. Everyone has been so wonderful to respond with such kind words. Thanks. Strange thing, my eyes are still dilated today and it's almost 1:00pm here. Still a little blurry too, but keeping positive. I watch my grandson tomorrow and Friday and it will be very hard not to pick him up. Hanging in there. Keeping the oils on all the time. Blessings,
Jan <><

Jan – I'm so sorry for your pain!  I've had 5 corneal abscesses in my eye before and it was very painful, and very scary!  I think Pat and everyone else has given you some wonderful advice, so I will second everything they have said!  Rest up – and we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers!
Blessings - Brooke Magleby

Hi Everyone.
I am having a really hard time typing this and seeing the screen as my eye's are dilated to where I have no visible iris what so ever. I need help and suggestions for what happened. On Sat. night I started seeing flashes of light in my Right eye, then Sunday morning a floater appeared out of no where. This is a rather large floater with three dots and spider like web like stuff around the dots. When it comes into my vision, it blocks it out. So I got in to the eye dr. today. The worst part of all this is I allergic to anything with kane. so when they dilated my eyes, they couldn't put the numbing drops in at all. It burned so bad...and then they put a huge contact with a light on it in my eye. They stuff was suppiosed to help with that as well...but because I can't have the novakane, I had to have this jell put in my eye to hold the contact in. It was the size of my whole eye bone...seriously. And it sucked itself on to my eye with the jell. That really didn;'t hurt too bad, till they took the thing out. It's been 5 hours since all this was done, and I'm still hurting. Have been putting lavender and frankinsence around the eye bone. Oh, and I am not allowed to lift, bend or get any kind of stress. HAve started to have a bit of a head ache as well. reactions to the little bit of eye drops and dilating solution they had to put in my eye, and the jell, I'm sure. good thing I can type without really seeing it...LOL! And my vision is still very very blurry. If you have any experience with thyis, or any suggenstion please let me know. The dr was very glad I called yesterday to get in assap...they are afraid of a retna tear. Thank you all for your help and suggestions. God Bless you all...
