Make sure that you do not dilute Terra Shield.  I have had friends put it on with coconut oil and I is NOT effective.  I have others put it just on their hair and neck thinking that the aroma will keep biters off their arms.  NOPE. You gotta put it on full strength on the area's you need to protect.  The best way we have found is to get a spray top and spray it on neat heavy if needed.  It is has proven VERY effective neat for us.
