My friend's daughter had this problem years ago, before I believed in Essential Oils.

She had a mineral deficiency but don't remember which one.  It helped within a few days.

What I did for my daughter was cut out all dairy, made sure she was well
hydrated with water throughout the day and stopped liquids by 6pm, and I
also massaged her legs with balance oil.  I love cypress oil and I have
never tried that one on my kids but you never know which one will work.
Sometimes 3-4 oils will do the same thing or none work and one you never
thought of does!

got a client who is about to order Cypress and I'm nervous that it
