Re: [Everything doTERRA] pleurisy

I get pleurisy also.  It usually comes when I am under stress or sleep deprived.  It is a virus, which is why the only thing the doctors will give you, is massive amounts of ibuprofen.  It is the kind of virus, that once you have it, you have it.  Kind of like a cold sore that reappears under stress.  When I get it, I take a capsule with oregano and melaleuca, put on guard on my chest where the pain is, and on my feet.  I put breathe in my diffuser and rest for a few hours.  I can usually knock it down before it gets bad.  If yours is deeply seated, you might have to be more persistent in getting rid of it.  It is very painful, and I'm sorry you have it!  The first time I got it, it got so painful, I thought I was having a heart attack.
Good Luck!

Put some Balance on the bottom of your feet before having an adjustment and the adjustment it will hold longer.

I really am sold on essential oils, but sometimes we need a chiropractic adjustment for certain things.  I go to a good one.  It sounds to me like a nerve situation that might be corrected by an adjustment by a good chiropracter.  Get one that doesn't make you go unless you call.  Some have you coming on and on and you may only need one adjustment.
God bless.

I couldn't find anything about this on the group, and I'm struggling so bad with it.  It has happened before, and the last time it cost me $900 to get it diagnosed at an emergency room, so I'm not going that route again.  It's just like before, so I'm sure that is what I have.  It is an inflammation in the lining around the heart and lungs.  Usually they just subscribe high powered pain meds that are an anti-inflammatory and lots of rest.  I don't want to go that route.  I have tried rubbing peppermint, balance and basil into my chest and back and shoulder area.  My entire left side hurts (chest portion) and my left arm is numb and tingley from it.  It has been going on for a few days.  I am thinking of trying the aromatouch oil in a massage, but I would love any other thoughts.  Is there anything internally that I could take that would be anti-inflammatory?
