Have you tried Coconut Oil? That might do it. And when he goes to sleep, that
would be a perfect time to put the oils on. Just stay with one, like Helichrysum
and the Coconut Oil, for a while.

My son has an open sore in the crease between his lower lip and his
chin. It just appeared overnight, I presume from a wayward fingernail
and incredibly sensitive skin. Unfortunately his is also teething,
getting his two bottom teeth in right now. I have been putting
lavender, helichrysm, & frankincense on it when I am able to. The
doctor also suggested coating it with chapstik after he eats as a
barrier. It's been two weeks now but the sore has not improved at all,
I assume mostly from his constant drooling. Any thoughts on what else
I can do for the little boy. I sure don't want him to get a scar just
from sensitive skin and excessive drool!
