Looks fabulous!  Except, unless I'm missing something somewhere, doTERRA doesn't yet have a nutmeg oil (see, Emily... We DO need it!!)

Hi Gang,

I found this on the internet and wanted to share with everyone, I am going to try this recipe at Thanksgiving!

 

Essential Oil Pumpkin Pie

 

Preheat oven to 375˚

 

¼ cup honey, agave or convert for your favorite sweetener

2 large eggs

1 drop doTERRA ginger essential oil

2 drops doTERRA cinnamon bark essential oil

1 drop doTERRA nutmeg essential oil

1 drop doTERRA clove essential oil

1 cup organic pumpkin puree

¼ teaspoon salt

1 ½ cups heavy (double) cream, scalded

1 unbaked pie shell

 

Whisk together honey & eggs until well blended, add all of the essential oils and the salt, mix well

Add the pumpkin puree and scalded cream, whisk until smooth.  Pour into pie shell.

Bake the pie for 10 minutes at 375˚F, Reduce heat to 350˚F and bake for 35-45 minutes until the filling is firm in the center.

Cool and top with whip cream (optional: add 1 drop of cinnamon or wild orange to whip cream)
