Hi!

My daughter saw an advertisement this year for tie girl dolls with a code to play games online.  I was hoping someone could recommend how to track it down.  I have looked online and can't find it.  I believe that is the proper spelling, that is what I wrote down after seeing the advertisement.

Thanks,
Lori

Mexican Breakfast Tortillas

Ingredients

4 brown-and-serve sausage links
6 eggs
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon margarine or butter
4 7-inch flour tortillas
3/4 cup shredded Monterey Jack or cheddar cheese (about 3 ounces)
Bottled salsa (optional)
Peeled avocado slices (optional)
Directions
With a sharp, small knife, cut each sausage link down the middle lengthwise, ending up with 2 long pieces. In an 8-inch skillet cook halved sausage links over medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes or until brown, turning often with tongs. Remove pan from heat. With tongs, carefully remove sausages from pan. Drain on layers of paper towels.
Combine the eggs in a large mixing bowl. Add the salt and pepper. With a wire whisk or fork, beat the mixture until yolks and whites are combined. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Add margarine or butter to the same skillet used to cook the sausages. Cook over medium heat until margarine or butter is melted and bubbly.
Slowly pour egg mixture into the skillet. Cook 1 minute without stirring. Cook 4 minutes more or until eggs are firm but still moist and shiny, stirring often. Remove pan from heat.
Lightly grease a baking sheet. Lay tortillas out flat on the baking sheet. Spoon some of the eggs onto half of each tortilla. Place two cooked sausage halves on top of the eggs on each tortilla. Top each with cheese. Fold the empty half of the tortilla over filling. Stick a toothpick through the top of each tortilla to keep the tortilla from flapping open while baking.
Bake in the preheated 350 degree F. oven for 8 to 10 minutes until the cheese is melted. Cut each filled tortilla into quarters (for easier eating). Remove toothpicks. Serve with salsa and avocado slices, if you like. Makes 4 servings.
Cook's tip: To crack the eggs, tap each whole egg gently with a table knife around the middle until it starts to crack. Working over a small bowl, pull the eggshell halves apart and let the egg fall into the bowl. Use a spoon to remove any pieces of eggshell that may have fallen into the bowl. Transfer the egg to the large mixing bowl. Repeat with remaining eggs

Eggwiches cheese-topped croissants

Ingredients

2 tablespoons margarine or butter
4 eggs
1/4 cup milk
4 slices thin-sliced mashroom, cut into bite-size pieces
4 croissants, split
1/4 cup Thousand Island salad dressing
1/2 cup shredded cheddar, Monterey Jack, or Swiss cheese (2 ounces)

Directions1. In a 10-inch skillet melt margarine or butter. Meanwhile, in a bowl beat together eggs and milk. Stir in mashroom. Pour egg mixture into skillet. Cook, without stirring, over medium heat until mixture begins to set on the bottom and around the edges. Using a large spoon or spatula, lift and fold partially cooked eggs so uncooked portion flows underneath. Continue cooking and stirring over medium heat about 4 minutes or until eggs are cooked throughout but are still glossy and moist. Remove from heat.
2. Spread top halves of croissants with some salad dressing. Sprinkle cheese over bottom halves. Spoon egg mixture onto cheese-topped croissants. Add croissant tops. Makes 4 servings.

Monster Breakfast Sandwich

Filled with green-dyed eggs and Canadian bacon, this ghoulishly good breakfast sandwich is a frightfully fun way to start the day.

Ingredients:
Bread
Canadian bacon
Eggs
Cheddar cheese, shredded
Green olives
Kale

Directions:
1. Toast two slices of your favorite sandwich bread.
2. Put a piece of pan-fried Canadian bacon on one slice of toasted bread.
3. Top with scrambled eggs dyed with green food coloring.
4. Add shredded cheddar cheese to make cheese look like monster's teeth.
5. Top with the second slice of toasted bread and add two green olives with pits for eyes.
6. Add the kale behind the eyes for the monster's hair.

Ginger Carrot Cake

Ingredients

4 eggs, lightly beaten
2 cups all-purpose flour
1-3/4 cups sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
4 cups finely shredded carrots
2/3 cup cooking oil
1/4 cup orange juice
2 tsp. grated fresh ginger or 3/4 tsp. ground ginger
1 cup walnuts, toasted and finely chopped (optional)
1 recipe Double-Cream Cheese Frosting

Directions1. Let eggs stand at room temperature 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease two 9-inch round cake pans; line bottoms with waxed or parchment paper; set aside.
2. In large bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In another bowl combine eggs, carrots, oil, orange juice, and ginger. Stir egg mixture into flour mixture, stir in nuts. Spread batter in prepared pans. Bake 30-35 minutes or until pick inserted near centers comes out clean. Cool in pans on wire rack 10 minutes. Remove from pans; cool thoroughly on racks.
3. Prepare Double-Cream Cheese Frosting. Place one layer flat side down on plate; spread 3/4 cup frosting. Stack second layer flat side down; spread remaining frosting on top and sides. Makes 12 servings.
4. Double-Cream Cheese Frosting: In large bowl beat together on low speed one 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened; 2 Tbsp. whipping cream; and 1/4 tsp. salt until fluffy. Gradually beat in 5 to 5-1/2 cups powdered sugar. Makes 2-1/2 cups.

(: ENJOY :)

Hey Y'all

I havent posted in awhile but I keep reading and learning from old and new moms alike. I have been reading about "Sleepless Nights" and thought I would post my sleepless night of another kind and see if any of you have experienced what I am dealing with.

I have a 13yo daughter who it turns out is very very independent and I am happy to say also very responsible for a teen. Here is my problem. I am a person who needs to be needed. It may not be a good thing but it works for me and I guess part of the reason I choose RN as my career. Lately my daughter has been staying at her girlfriends' for the weekend, has been getting up for school without my help, has been doing things for herself that I have been doing since my oldest was younger and I know I should be grateful that she is who she is, but, I have been having a real hard time dealing with it. I cry when Im alone and think about it, I have sleepless nights over it, I am just a mess. I know it probably sounds ridiculous to some of you and to others its something you cannot wait to happen. But for me, its turning me into a basket case. While I have my home, my business, my other daughter, my hobbies, there are just so many things to keep me occupied, I
just cannot figure out why this is affecting me so badly. I know that if she is as independent and responsible as she is, I have done my job as a parent, but she is still my baby and I thought she would need me forever. H-E-L-P!!!!!
