Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: MTHFR - Methylenetetrahydrofolate Reductase (gene mutation)

All of the supplements that I take are prescribed by my doctor. I don't think any of the oils have really done much by themselves, but have supported what the doctor has already put in place. That being said, citrus oils have been helpful in supporting detox. Mito2Max, and Balance has helped me as well.   I have a few more issues than just MTHFR, so it's hard to pin point which helps with what.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Ingesting oils

Ingesting Oils...i only use cptg oils so i feel confident when ingesting.  For my seasonal allergies that put me to bed. I have been using Lemon Lavender and Peppermint
I begin with 3 drops each in a small amount of water morning and night. When pollen count is very high i may use up to 5 drops each 3 times a day. I can sleep i can function i can breathe. I have been doing this now for 5 years. I use to take 2 Zyrtec 2 times a day and use nasal spray...so bad...but now i feel wonderful.  Would never be without my oils.

Is there anyone who has been experimenting for a long time with ingesting the oils?

Tracy, I would have to say also that many of us take a ton of oils internally--they are fabulous!  However, that is due to the purity of the oils!!  I have taken all of them internally, and even wintergreen has a place internally. But worked like a champ in a capsule?  I will ask him some day.  Until then.  just my thoughts.....

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Migraines

Past Tense has helped several of my friends. However, the most dramatic result was when my friend was totally debilitated with a migraine: I dropped lavender, melaleuca and frankincense into her palm, had her rub her palms together and cup her nose, inhale deeply about six times then rub the back of her neck. As soon as she inhaled the oils, she jumped up and said the pain was gone. So, I am a huge believer in the power of those three oils. I used 3-5 drops of each.

I have another friend who suffers from migraines, and at the onset of the headache, she puts a drop of frankincense on her thumb and presses it to the roof of her mouth - and usually gets instant relief from this.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Substitute for oregeno in morphine bomb

the over-the-counter patches do not work very well. The ones that my dad had were the lidoderm prescription ones that were kind of expensive. I looked online at Canadian Pharmacy and if you buy them in bulk they're about $5 apiece. Not too bad I don't think instead of having to be doped up. I think it was a hundred and seventy dollars for a 30 day supply.
