[Everything doTERRA] Oil to help with joint flexibility?

My husbands hands are so muscular (from being a baker/cake decorator for 30yrs) that his hands actually curve inward& it is very difficult for him to straighten them out normally UNLESS I use either Deep Blue or Aromatouch...once I massage either of these in & stretch his hands a bit he is able to hold them out straight w/out difficulty. This is HUGE for him:) So you might try these& see what kind of results you get.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Help with skeptic

It can also be hard to share with family and friends because they
don't see us as experts or that we know what we're talking about. I
heard Justin Harrison share once that after trying to tell his dad
over and over what he should do for a medical condition that it
finally took Dr. Hill telling him the same thing for his dad to take
the advice. We have experienced the same thing with some of our
family members, who may think "who are they to be suggesting this
expensive oil to me as medicine? Its just Jessica for heaven's sake,
2 years ago she didn't know what an essential oil was; she's just
trying to make a sale", or something like that.

If you do want to keep trying, I recommend always using a third party
expert to back up and give more credibility to what you're telling
them; be it the Modern Essentials Guide, a webinar, rip pad sheet,
etc.

Best wishes!

Jessica

[Everything doTERRA] Help with skeptic

We are not privy to the names of the private labs that do our testing. This is for their protection as well as doterra's...I can tell you Dr Pappas tests our oils as well as many other eo companies oils & he says none are the quality of doterra. He is not affiliated w/doterra except that he tests&compares our oils in a lab setting.

I can also tell you that Harvard University, University of Utah &Vanderbilt hospital all have done testing and/or studies on our oils. There are ongoing studies @ Vanderbilt now.

The only other advice I can give you is open a bottle &share it w/the skeptic. Let her smell the difference & experience them. If that doesn't do it don't waste your time& energy trying to convince someone who doesn't believe. It is more productive for you to give samples to people who are genuinely interested in them for health& wellness. Just my opinion. Bless your efforts!

[Everything doTERRA] Possible reaction to Breathe

A reaction such as this could be due to toxicity in his body but I do agree it is stange that it would happen on the 4th night rather than the first...same goes w/the gal who used fennel & said it burned. My mom had a similar response w/breathing the first time she smelled Geranium it did literally take her breath away. We believe it was either toxicity in her body OR just her body's way of saying "no thanks, I don't need or want that oil". Remember we are all different & our bodies can respond differently to any oil.

[Everything doTERRA] Removing make up?

I need something to remove make up at the end of the day.  I dont like washing my face with soap and water outside the shower because it makes a big mess.  I use Doterra's skin care line when i shower and love it.  The toner seems good at getting off most of my make up but you can't use it around the eyes.  What can i use to get eye make up off?  I use water soluble make up.  I just tried fco but it didn't work very well.  It just got the make up in my eyes.  Anyone?  I don't want to buy Mary Kay's eye make up remover again.  Thanks  Emily

[Everything doTERRA] Help with skeptic

I have a skeptical family member and would love to give her some info she is wanting.  She has used cheaper oils (sold from Amazon from a little company) and has scoured the internet reading all kinds of negative information.  So, she is now asking what labs test doTerra oils in their six step testing to qualify them?  She said that CPTG being a trademark, no one else is allowed to use that to say they are.  So I'm not sure how to answer her.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Holiday Joy....confusion??

My Dad mistook Holiday Joy for DDR and poured 8 drops into a shot glass of Orange Juice! He called me wondering what it would do to him... I laughed and thought how bad his breath must reek of a Christmas Tree! But jokingly I told him he would have diarrhea. He was just fine, but he did say it was nasty!

Then I'd put an acceptable scatching item near by, well laced with catnip -- some cats like the corregated cardboard, some like sisal, some prefer carpet scraps... to show the cat a proper alternative...

good luck (ps it's ugly, but short term, taping aluminum foil to the places the cat scratchs can work wonders as well)

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Holiday Joy....confusion??

I have used the Holiday Joy in holiday treats. I made vegan truffles. It was fine, but the pine did give it a flavor that was a little different.
I ate them all, I am still alive. No 3rd arm growing. No weird rashes. Nothing bad happened. So, i would say, take a toothpick and get a dab of it on the toothpick. Taste it and see if you like it. If not, then make your own blend that suites your Holiday Joy =)

[Everything doTERRA] dog with cancer tumor

I become an essential oil convert within the last few months, I've had health problems for years and the more oils I've used, the more medications I've been able to get away from and I love them. But now I've got a serious problem and I am begging for help from you or anyone that can give me any advice that could possibly help me out.
A few days ago, they found a cancerous tumor on my 12 1/2 year old shepard mix, Roo's lower jaw. I have an appointment with a local surgeon to see what my options are. I realize that I might have to have at least part of her jaw removed but if at all possible I would like to use more homeopathic remedies to heal her but I'm not sure how. I've read about lots of oils that are anti-carcinogenic, and could help heal people after having being treated for cancer. I just don't know which ones are safe for dogs, nor do I know how to use them on her, topically, orally or aromatically. I'm willing to do whatever it takes for her, as long as she isn't suffering and can maintain a decent quality of life, then I'll keep fighting for her. So I am absolutely begging for any information, referrals to anyone who might have more information, anything.
Roo has literally saved my life more than once but even beyond that she is the love of my life. I owe her the best I can possibly find to help her through this so I appreciate so much any information you can provide more than you know. Again, thank you, Wendi. [Everything doTERRA] low quality oils helping...what to say?

Hi there!  My husband recently told someone about essential oils and they jumped online and ordered what they initially thought was a doTERRA Frankincense online for $8.00 through Amazon.  When I looked into it, I noticed it was not doTERRA so the quality, purity, and % of oil could not be confirmed.  I told her I would love for her to smell the difference when she received the oil.  Today I received a text from her and she was so excited that this $8 bottle was able to relieve her joint pain and she hasn't needed to take any pain meds (usually at least 4/day).  I told her how great it was that her pain was gone and wasn't needing any meds.  So, in this situation, how do I approach her with doTERRA oils (she was iniitially very interested with learning about the business end) and the incredible healing power and purity?

[Everything doTERRA] dryness and oils

Hi there.

I am a vata/pitta in ayurvedic medicine....which means I'm very dry inside and out. Peppermint oil seems to give me nosebleeds and dries me out as do many foods. I am wondering if anyone knows the best oils to use to help add moisture back into the body? I eat a healthy diet, exercise, and get plenty of water. My body simply needs moisture to thrive. I live in AZ and using the heat in this dry climate makes my situation worse. I gave Peppermint oil another try yesterday and sure enough, I had a nosebleed last night. Helichrysum helped with the bleeding, but I'd like to find oils I can use on a regular basis to help heal my vata constitution (dryness.) I have almost all of the single oils in my collection, and will be placing an LRP order soon, so please include any oils you can think of. Also, does anyone know if there are other oils that dry you up that I should avoid? Peppermint is known to cooling and drying...I'm wondering if Wintergreen and Eucalyptus might be other oils I should avoid? Thank you so much for your help!

The green purse sold at convention was still available as of about 3-4

Doterra. If you have someone who has an account manager, that would
be best to ask them to call their account manager because I am not

green purse availability. (anyone silver or above has an account

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Oregano verses Antibiotic

I asked Dr. Hill this question and got this response: Oregano does
not kill the good. The reason for two weeks on, 1 week off of oregano
he said was because due to (somehow I hope I get this right in the
laymans terms) due to the chemical makeup of oregano, it takes longer
to process through the liver. It is not hard on the liver, it does
not kill the good, it just takes longer to process through. So,
hence, the two weeks on, one week off (unless you are a child and then

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Different from other MLMs

Our culture is different than others because we do not require anyone to place an order every month, or to purchases a certain amount. If you enroll with doterra you don't have to sell the oils or purchase a certain amount. You can pay the $35.00 dollar enrollment fee, get the oils you want at wholesale and once a year when your enrollment date comes around you have to pay a $25.00 fee to stay in the system, but doTerra sends you a bottle of Peppermint for the fee.
It is a win win situation and no one bugs you to do a business.

Pat,

Please explain how DoTERRA is different. I have a friend who needs these oils but will not think about buying them because it is a "MLM" company. I would love to know how to explain the difference  to her, or anyone.

Thanks,
Linda

Just open the oils, show your passion and talk to everyone. Explain to them the culture of doTerra and how it is different from other MLM's. And remember that doTerra is now the largest essential oil company in the world. Then share your love of the products and have them smell the oils.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Holiday Joy....confusion??

Because it is a blend and the governing powers that be have no idea what the oils do, require that doTerra put this on the label. I use the CB in my water, my salad dressings and much more.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] High Blood Pressure and Microplex VM

I can't verify what Dr. Hill said, but you are not out anything by trying it. I also know the a capsule with 4 drops each of Ylang Ylang and Lemon taken 1-2 times daily and then rubbing Basil and Marjoram on the bottom of your feet will also help with high blood pressure.

My blood pressure is up in spite of using a variety of the oil protocols for this.  I have been taking the LLV supplements religiously for over four months.  4-2-2-4 capsules spaced evenly throughout the day and evening.  I recently read the following in everythingessential.me:
"My friend spoke to Dr. Hill last night and asked him if the doTerra Life Long Wellness supplements could be making her blood pressure go up.  He said yes, that happens to some, and for her to take a 1/2 dose of the Microplex VM and that should address that."    So, I just wanted to verify that he really DID say that.  If so, perhaps I need to 1/2 the VM part of the supplements.  Thank You!
