Re: [Everything doTERRA] New Essential Oil Blend!

I wasn't meaning at all to be critical, Pat.  I thought the Zombie blend was clever and fun. I was just offering an idea on why Rob may have got some less positive responses?  I'm sorry if my reply here seemed negative.  It wasn't intended to be.

Since this was actually sent to Wendy and Rob's entire team, as his newsletters are, it went to everyone. Each one of them have the opportunity to unsubcribe. Rob gets over a hundred emails a day and going in to eliminate a certain group is time consuming, although important to him. I know their main desire is to teach and train, however a bit of levity once in a while can be fun. Unfortunately it wasn't taken the way it was intended, by some.

Since Rob has been under the weather for a few days I will take license to offer his apologies for any discomfort some may have felt. I am sure we will hear from him when he is feeling better.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Help Please, redness on cheekbones and under eye

Thios part of your face usually links to your small intestine, so i would start with white flours and maybe go as far as gluten.... at least try cutting all flours except spelt. Also i wouldnt use Vit C topically on your face you can have a sensitivity to this topically. Also start very slow with oils and be careful the amount of Vit B/Niacin you consume. The toxins are putting up a fight and dont wanna leave so you should do any cleanse very slow, like just lemon for a while.

Hi, my name is Lisa, I am using Renee's account to post this, I need your help!

I am so frustrated for months on and off this redness and puffiness occurs. It started on my eye in May and went away, it turns dry and sometimes itchy and comes and goes and now it is back again under both eyes. The eyelid is not puffy just cheekbone area. One morning a few weeks ago I woke up and it was bad and I thought it was a flare up from shrimp the night before. I know we can develop allergies later in life. I am 29, do not drink milk and consume little amount of carbs. I have tried some oils but if I use them too often my skin gets so dry and flaky. I take Zyrtec allergy medication on occasion and sometimes it helps. I have Fibromyalgia and not sure what I should do next, eliminate gluten, do a deeper detox? I did the GX assist regimen, I eat healthy and organic. Please let me know any suggestions, this is so annoying!!

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: 3 year old chemo treatment

To help with methotraxate. It is a cancer drug but the dose given to rhumatoid arthitic children and adults is not high enough to act as giving them chemo treatments. It acts in a very different way. When my son was on it I asked the Dr. and she said that it wasn't a chemo treatment. It was to help the body not attack itself. So even though a person is taking methotraxate for RA I would still use the oils to counter act the side effects of the drug or like what I did with my son was to get him off completely. Praying for the little on with the JRA.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] sick son

Hi All,

When there's a heart issue I worry about people using peppermint.  I had a friend who was under some type of medication and when we gave him a whiff of peppermint we got scared as he just about collapsed. We found out that the medication for his heart was not doing well w/Peppermint. We normally don't have anyone recommend peppermint to someone with a heart problem because we don't know if he is using some heart medication or not. We're just being cautious--be on the safe side.

[Everything doTERRA] Love DoTerra!

Being apart of doTerra I have realized how important being a positive team leader is to the success of sharing doterra with the world. After reading all the posts about enrollments I just wanted to post my favorite saying:
In a persons lifespan we influence around 10,000 people.. The question isnt whether we will influence others but how we want to use that influence:)

Doterra is an amazing product and it has changed so many lives.. We have to remember why we share doterra and continue to be willing to grow.

My favorite oils are geranium, cypress and clary sage because it helped me with my endometriosis!!! Because it prevented me from having a 4th surgery I continue to share share and share... So many people need doTerra:)

You could start using Lemongrass with a carrier and know that where you place the oil could turn a little yellow over time, but this is a great oil to help ligaments and tendons.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Another Oil for Seizures other than Frank and Balance?

Hi,
I am sure that there are more qualified than me to answer, but I just pulled out my Modern Essentials book and looked up seizures.
Clary Sage, Lavender, Balance, Serenity, & Elevation are all listed to be applied topically.  Under other products the xEO Mega and the microplex VMZ.  Perhaps start by putting the one of the oils on the bottom of the feet. I would also make sure the person is not dehydrated.
I will say that when I started sharing doTerra everyone was so excited about using Frankincense for seizures, but when I recommended it to a family they looked up the drug contradictions and found that frankincense was not to be used with that particular drug.  I am not sure that whether or not it was doterra frankincense would have made a difference to what the drug makers were recommending.  This family is using Serenity to help the child sleep better and the seizures are under control with the medication.
Hope this helps
Julie

Re: [Everything doTERRA] sick son

Penny,
Sorry you had to wait 2 hours to hear from anyone. I actually was handing out candy to the darling children in my neighborhood.

I would start with Immortelle or Cypress over the heart area. Then 2-3 drops of Digest Zen in a small amount of water, drink it with some water. Now I would put Frankincense on his spine (go upward towards the heart). Before he goes to bed put OnGuard and Balance on the bottom of his feet.

Not to be an alarmist but ANYTIME chest pains are I involved I would go to the ER b/c unless he is prone to anxiety attacks it could be heart related...without knowing his history the best I could do is address symptoms &suggest oils that have worked for me& my family.
That said for the chest pains if you have YlangYlang &Marjoram if it were me I would apply them topically over the heart. For nausea Digestzen topically over abdomen if that doesn't work I would try ans ingest 3-4 drops in a shot of water. For light-headedness I would likely use Balance over heart &on bottoms of feet. Hope this helps...

[Everything doTERRA] Re: 3 year old chemo treatment

I attended one of her classes. I don't have anything in writing. She
just said, please, please please, do not give oils to anyone
undergoing chemo. She said that chemo creates an unfriendly
environment and oils do the opposite.

I don't know enough about chemo and oils to understand more than that.
All I do know is that Dr. Lawton has been using essential oils for
thirty nine years, is an RN and has 2 Ph.Ds and does a tremendous
amount of research. When someone like that says we shouldn't do it,
then I think we should be careful.

Just thought it was my duty to pass the info along so no one is
harmed.

[Everything doTERRA] Looking for a sign-in sheet / record of people receiving samples with disclaimer

I'm working a wellness fair in 2 days & want to keep a record of people receiving samples & those interested in holding a party in their home, kind of like a sign-in sheet. I'd like the disclaimer to say something that by signing they give me permission to follow up with them and that they understand I am not attempting to diagnose, cure, advise or prescribe any illness or ailment.

Before reinventing the wheel, I thought I'd ask the group if anyone already had such a document and was willing to attach it to a reply on this forum.

Please send if you have!

Thanks.

Good advice, Julie!  Then make sure she hasn't 'prepared' by hogging all the good stuff!   Seems like they mentioned on the news a Vampire B Gone protocol, but for some reason most of the really good ingredients aren't available anywhere--even from the Florida chemical EE co! lol

[Everything doTERRA] Another Oil for Seizures other than Frank and Balance?

A friends Daughter is still having seizures when using Balance and
Frankincense. At first it worked great. But now she is getting them
every night. Is there any more oils that she should be trying? She is
going to Primary Children's in a month or two hopefully find out why
she is having them. She is 13 years old and they have only gotten
worse as she gets older. I know there are lots of posts on Seizures so
sorry to add another thread. I just don't know what else to do to help
her.

My wintergreen has a safety cap. I took this to mean it was all powerful so When deep blue was not enough for my arthritis, I opened that puppy up and added it. Within 24 hours my fingers were feeling better. My first experience with Wintergreen!

Deep Blue has the safety lid because of the wintergreen in it,
wintergreen also has the same safety lid. As far as I understand the
FDA requires that type of lid because of the wintergreen.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: oils in blood stream?

I've seen these slides and cannot find any information about them. They're well used but I haven't found anyone that knows anything about whether they're real. For example, what part of the body were they drawn from? In what time increments? If they are real there must be more information about them. My scientist husband would like to find out if they are valid research or just some random slides. The way they are presented is not particularly meaningful without a greater understanding of the research. My query is specifically about this research, not doTERRA or oils in general. I'm sold on them. I'd just like to present oils to scientists (we know a lot).

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Who gets Enrollment

Jenn,
I wish I would have had your email in my pending file I would not have let it onto this forum. Even though I love your upline and respect her this is the first time a name has been mentioned.

Lets get back to what this forum is all about and that is sharing and learning about essential oils. I know that doTerra is a big part of that and there are some who have problems with an up line. And I have commented on it along with others, that is what we are here for, to help. It is not appropriate to mention names. I realize you mentioned your up line because you truly care about her and appreciate her. And I know where you are coming from, but since you mentioned her in the context of this thread I felt a need to admonish bringing up her name. Have I missed something?

This forum along with builddoterra and everythingessential.me has been my life line in learning and educating myself with protocols and energy management. As long as I am involved I will make every attempt to keep it upbeat and a fun place to be.

Blessings,
Pat

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Birch

Great message Shelly! How much Mito2Max would you recommend for pain?  I'm in the middle of moving my daughter and myself and getting a bit sore.  I'll take 4 now and see what happens but would love to hear your results with it.

Hi Leah, My blessings to you and your husband.  It has been my experience being with doTERRA for three years and often dealing with my own pain ....that the most obscure, crazy oil or supplement may be the answer to the problem.   Do you have access to a zyto scan? I have witnessed and lived the reality of that little machine to help solve problems for myself and my many clients.    Often it is not a known pain relieving oil that is the answer, it may be something totally off the wall and unexpected.   That is the wisdom of the body.  Is your husband on the Life Long Vitality?  If the oils that doTERRA provides on a regular basis are not working, then something else usually needs to be addressed.  Maybe he is full of heavy metals, maybe he has an underlying microbe that is blocking healing.  I would suggest the daily regime list with lemon in the water, balance, a sleep aid like lavender or roman chamomile, LLV, coriander/cilantro, and definitely TERRAZYME, several daily.  I have seen TERRAZYME do amazing things.  Proper enzyme production and usage is vital for all body functions.  How about the DDR prime? DDR prime will clean those cell receptors so your husband can respond to the multitude of oils and supplements that doTERRA provides.    Mito2max is also great for pain.  If he is in a lot of pain, he should have more EFAs that daily recommended.  Perhaps the dose recommended on the LLV and then a teaspoon or two of IQmega. Try a round of on guard and oregano in a capsule for 14 days.  Subclinical microbial infections are a major source of chronic pain.  Fungal, bacterial and viral.  It will not hurt him at all to do this.  Even if he has had an injury, his body should heal.  The blocks to healing are deficiency and toxiciy. These things are all things that I personally do as well as recommend to my clients.   In doTERRA we are brilliant solution providers and I pray that you will find a brilliant solution for a permanent cure.  DotERRA has provided many things to give the body what it needs to assist in that permanent remission of symptoms but Dr. Hill also reminds us of our responsibility to eat right and remove toxins from our diet.  I always know when I have been eating sugar, my body pain returns.  We really do have so many tools and I pray that your husband finds permanent relief.  I know that his healing can go well beyond a bottle of birch

Birch was the ONLY oil that could bring him any relief.

I don't have the money to jump on Pete's offer right now, but I try to get a convention package every year so I can get some birch. I hoard it like it was queen's diamonds. :)

We have so many pain relieving oils that work effectively for pain and inflammation.  Deep Blue Rub, deep blue oil, past tense, lemongrass, wintergreen,  balance, patchouli, frankincense, white fir, basil just to name a few.  Wintergreen so closely resembles Birch molecularly that it is a perfect substitute for birch.  Also, why would anyone spend that amount of money on an oil and not earn loyalty rewards on it?    Yes, we all love birch but it is not worth this amount of attention and money.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Who gets Enrollment

Pat,

I have to caution everyone to take pause and realize the affects of these accusations. It's quite easy for some to post their perspective of things when the other side cannot share  the full picture.  I too share a direct upline with someone on this board who so boldly spoke out and I have to caution you into understanding that the full picture has not properly been conveyed. Be careful as this is now on the internet for ALL too see. Even your own prospects if they so wish to google it can.
This "dishonest" and "thieving" upline that is slandered is not such a person or team. Teresa Harding and her entire team has been built from the beginning on deep rooted integrity. If you follow everything she lays out in her plan, you will be successful. With clear communication these misunderstandings are usually avoided. Unfortunately, often times people make assumptions, or don't follow instructions, and our pride can often cloud our judgement. It happens to the best of people.
I have always been taught by this same doTERRA upline and doTERRA corporate to work with honesty and integrity. Never would these leaders take an enrollment. I understand that people are human and will be greedy, but I also know that is NOT the norm at doTERRA and while we should work privately with trusted leaders to fix any misdoings, I also believe that you should not be on here posting false information to validate your perspective.
I share doTERRA to help improve the lives of others and I think that is what most of us are passionate about.

We were taught the same way and did as you did! It did not feel right taking enrollments that belonged to someone else, it did not matter if we were doing all the work or teaching the classes. There were times when it was tough financially but in the end it always works out for the benefit of everyone.

I think it is wrong to take enrollments unless the person that introduced these people understands what they are losing. Fast start is nothing compared to the residual income that comes from the unilevel. As a leader we want people to have this, and we want to help them become successful. Our upline was taught to do as we both were and she does take all enrollments. This has not only caused a lot of people to dislike doterra and fall away but it has really hurt our business. What I advised her on was this, the reason why it takes most people a few years to build a successful organization is because they do it right, not saying people that do it in a year do it wrong. If you are finding your own contacts and working with them then you will be successful. However, if you are teaching classes for other people and taking their enrollments because they are not building or sharing as fast as we would want them too, is WRONG. From day one what we were taught to do felt wrong and we did not do it, today I am so thankful that we have build organically. I would rather build slow and sturdy, than fast and dishonest. I teach all my leaders and organization, do not sell your soul for a penny!! We have been with doTerra for 10 months and just about to hit GOLD. We did it with NO upline and NO support! BUT WE DID IT RIGHT! And to us that is what matters most. I have found that if people understand the product, they will share it. And worse case if you don't have someone enrollment and their enroller doesn't do the business, it is still our obligation to help them. I work with people 9 levels down... I don't get paid for a few people, but they want to do the business and I want to help them reach their goals. I teach everyone to follow their gut instinct, if you don't feel right about something, speak with your mentor and figure out why.

Monica, I believe if you teach product and opportunity you will find greater success with people wanting to build. I would love to help you anyway I can with this... It was tricky for us but we figured it out and it works great!!

Good luck

I would like to "chime in" to this discussion.

I have been with doTERRA since the very beginning. My Upline taught me the following method of enrolling new members:

When I am personally working with someone, I keep the enrollment and - if I wish to place that new member under someone else as the sponsor, I may do so.

If a member on my team  wants me to teach an EO class for them (where I am doing all the work), I keep the enrollments and may place folks under that host as sponsor....

Until...

The host is a qualified builder (meaning that he or she is maintaining a $150 PV LRP monthly order and agrees to train his/her people and their people, etc), in which case the host is responsible for class prep and is willing to help teach the class by the second one, and teach alone by 3rd class... Training new folks the same way.

The REASON given for this format was that when the host is not actively engaged in building a business but you are, that ENROLLERSHIP is where you (as a builder) will be able to advance in rank with the company, and since you are actively building,  you need the enrollership... And for those who "get" the compensation plan, it can be very motivating for your people to know that when they start sharing and teaching about the oils, they too can earn that Fast Start Bonus. ... Which is true...

Now, did I do it this way? Nope. At the time that I was being trained, I thought that keeping the enrollership for myself felt greedy, so I always gave the enrollership to whomever I was doing classes for, whether or not they were truly building a business,  or had any interest in following up with their people. .. Training. .. Etc.

Nearly all of those who were on LRP got their Fast Start Bonus and then essentially dropped the ball as far as continued team building. In some cases, I even gave enrollership and sponsorship to others on my team who weren't even at a class, in the hope that the "gift" would inspire them to be more active, but that was not the result.

Now, after having been with doTERRA for 4 years, I have over 100 people on my "team" and I am presently the only active builder. Since I did not follow my Upline's format, nor did I train my folks to do likewise,  my income barely exceeds my LRP orders, while my Upline has achieved Presidential Diamond... And we joined doTERRA at essentially the same time.

In talking with her about these issues awhile back, My Upline leader acknowledged my generosity, but also let me know that in so doing (as opposed to following her training ), Not only had I not trained my folks to be leaders in their own right, but I had also limited my ability to achieving rank, because keeping those enrollerships until I have true builders makes all the difference.

So, I think the "moral of the story" is that there are no hard and fast rules.

In the case of your Upline who kept the forms and enrollerships, perhaps that is what she was taught (as was I), and maybe that was done because - for whatever reason - you are not thought of as a leader (yet)... I am NOT saying that is OK, I am just saying that is how I was taught,  and perhaps your leader was taught the same way....

For future events, whether you are the host and someone else is teaching, or vice-versa, I suggest that the issue of who is to keep enrollership - and sponsorship placement - be sorted out and agreed to, well before the event.

I have learned, through trial and error, that pre-planning and open discussion (both with Upline and Downline) is incredibly important.

I have not done classes in quite awhile,  as I have been sorting through how (and indeed if) I truly intend to build my doTERRA business.

I have a class scheduled for the this coming Saturday, with one of the members of my team hosting. She has not indicted to me that she wants to build a doTERRA business,  but she does enjoy hosting parties, and the event is totally her idea.

This discussion has inspired me to have a pre-event conversation with the host to determine the handling of any orders or enrollments prior to the event, and I view this as a good opportunity to discover whether or not she wishes to be a host or step up to be a leader... I will let you all know how it shakes out.

Thanks for bringing this issue to this forum. I am certain that many of us have experiences with this that have impacted us in many ways.

Renee, I thinks its great you're going to call and confront her but in my experience with people, she is not going to hand these enrollments back over.  She is unethical and greedy so be ready for that.  I have called corporate about this issue and discussed it with them.  Their  response was "We would love to do a training with the upline of this woman in order to get it all figured out, I will need some names in order to take action".

For your future and others that come into doTerra under with upline, its crucial you escalate up to corporate.

Hello!

I'm new here and so glad I found this group.  I have learned more here in a week then I have in the past 4 months.  I have a question about who gets enrollments.  We just did a crazy weekend with 4 classes all over the state.  My upline took all the forms and said she would divide them equally so that its fair to everyone.  This has not turned out well in the past... and this time was no exception.  She took every enroller spot and placed people under us as sponsors.  She said that if we 'step up' she will transfer the enroller to us in a month or 2.  From reading here I don't think she can move anyone after the first 30 days, and even if she did we would not get a bonus, so whats the deal about 'transferring enrollment'?

Also there were a few people that I closed with the Natural Solutions kit and I won't get any bonus at all because she entered herself as enroller - correct?

She also placed people that I am working with under completely different legs then me for the 'benefit of the group', but said I need to keep working with them because it will work out in the end??  I won't get a bonus or anything from working with them right?  I will just help this other IPC (her daughter) get a bonus?  I love the new friends I have made and will continue to work with them, its not all about the bonuses.  I have been blessed with great friendships with the people I have sold kits to.  I just think my upline has been lying to me all along and am trying to figure out the truth before I confront her.

Sorry for all the questions - I've been doing this for 4 months and have not received a single fast start bonus.  I just figured out why and now have to review everything else I've been told to see if it is right or wrong.

Thanks everyone!!
