Re: [Everything doTERRA] convention

I bring home stuff from aroma tools and my oil business plus the conference special. No shipping when I'm flying on southwest anyway. :) i try and bring home as much as I can for the next while for my business as even paying for a bag can be cheaper than shipping.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: LLV with various prescriptions that state do not drink or eat grapefruit?

Except that there is not grapefruit in LLV. Slim & Sassy does but not LLV. The only time I've ever had LLV be an issue with medication was once is a clinical trial where they did not want someone taking Milk Thistle but they could take 2 of the 3.

However, grapefruit is supposed to be avoided on certain medications, including cholesterol and others. It's easy to find if you google "avoid grapefruit meds".

I like www.kayak.com and select compare all. I'd book the flight and

Kayak too. When you do hotels just make sure under the near box you type
Salt Palace Convention Center, Salt Lake City.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: August Specials

Good idea. I've changed it now. Walking a tight line here, as it's technically now 1st August (00:50AM), but as I see it, the computer considers it 1st August in US time.

Searched everywhere online including twitter and facebook, and I can't see any mention/rumour of the Immortelle. What tends to happen though is some people in the know will tell their downline, and the information leaks out from there. The fact that doTERRA HQ are saying "don't know" indicates to me that there may be some truth to it.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Shingles: July 2012

sorry you are going through with shingles. I had a client of mine being successful with using 20 drops melaleuca, 20 drops lavender, and 20 drops eucaltypus in glass 4oz bottle..it helped with his shingle pain and was able to sleep much better and it was gone within a week with no scars...

My recipe is on the everythingessential.me website under "Shingles"...

The deeper your levels go, the more commission you will earn. Your first level is your Front Line and those is where you place your "Business Builders" and start on your Power of 3 structure. [Everything doTERRA] post appendectomy

I had an emergency appendectomy last week.  My appendix ruptured 10 days prior to surgery.  My body had walled the infection off.
I spent four days in the hospital following surgery, receiving antibiotics and draining the infection.
I am now home and looking for ways to heal.
I will start on PB Assist and on guard today.  What else do you recommend?  My abdomain is quite swollen.

Thanks for you help.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Essential Oils for Cat Care Tear Sheet

Janice I agree, the back is pretty generic with no mention made of extra precautions for cats, in fact the front is skimpy in that area as well: "Cats are small and sensitive.  Use less than a drop of oil at a time--even less for pregnant females and kittens.  Dilute with coconut oil if needed.  Use Melaleuca with caution."   They suggest adding LLV to "your oils program" (with no mention of dose) but is that for the human caretakers or the cats?;-)  Interesting and OK information, but of limited use IMO.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Lotus Diffuser - for Business (Salons/Spas etc)

The Lotus is my personal favorite and I have it in 2 different salons/spas.  they  like it for the look (aroma ace is better suited for a drs office/clinical setting) and no one has ever complained about having to refill it.  Most people love the scent it puts out so much that they probably over use it but don't care.

They report it's tranquil to look at; is quiet in a massage setting, and the aroma is light enough not to annoy but heavy enough to smell.  I drop these off to clients I'm trying to recruit and they always want one when I come to pick it up.  If you're going to show a diffuser to a spa this is the one.

On Wednesday, July 25, 2012 2:35:47 PM UTC-4, DanielH wrote:
Hi

I'm preparing to send out a major promotion to Salons and Spas in my area with the Lotus Diffuser (as that is the only diffuser available to purchase in UK).

Before I do so, I just wondered if anyone here had experience on using the diffuser in a business setting such as a salon? With the Lotus, it would require filling up with water and oils fairly frequently, though I hope that won't be too much of a nuisance. Feedback would be great.

The idea is to get them using the diffuser for the aroma in the salon.

Cheers

[Everything doTERRA] Re: LLV with various prescriptions that state do not drink or eat grapefruit? Reactions & education

Good answer, and after reading some of the information from this list I definitely agree with you and Tracy.  My son's allergist told us that people can be allergic to literally anything--no matter how 'pure.'  So why not doTERRA?  Although I'm sure it's unlikely to react with many or even most meds, according to the evidence presented in earlier posts, it can.  Due to this I have begun telling people this very thing, you need to check with your doctor if uncertain, just because 1000 people in a similar situation have used something with great results doesn't mean that the next person will!  I happen to think that doTERRA is wonderful, like-changing as we've read here and heard other places, but anything that powerful needs to be treated seriously in my very lay-person opinion! ;-)

Best of luck with your father, Marie.  I hope you can find something that works for him.
Becky

I so agree with you tracy.

I also endeavor to get people to educate themselves. They need to pay attention to their bodies. I try to build their confidence in doterra and then they choose to use the products based on that. Someone can have a reaction to anything. And there are some that react to grapefruit oil regarding their meds for whatever reason. I have seen it on this very message board.  There are no guarantees...at least in my opinion.

Your dad is on a ton of meds which is very sad to me. It i is always sad to me that you have to be on medication that makes you have to question a piece of fruit.  But to be positive, he can be working on so many things if he is the type that won't educate. I hate to say it and I'm being stereotypical...dads aren't the first n line to want to educate themselves. Does he wanna read online, look at testimonials, research, etc.  I don't know but he could try lemon in his water or use oils in other ways that don't have anything to do with grapefruit but at the same time it can build his faith in the oils and products. Then he is ready to try other things and its based on a foundation HE has built with doterra. Not because you guaranteed him something that u really can't.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Lotus Diffuser - for Business (Salons/Spas etc)

Amber I have this one too, love it!  Mine literally runs all the time, you just add more water or oil as needed, the automatic shut-off is nice.  However it doesn't seem to put out as strong an aroma as my Whisper (also from Aroma Tools) or obviously the Aroma Ace.It also has a little larger footprint, but is very quiet.  Haven't tried the Lotus, but have been around them numerous times & like them: the specs make the Whisper & Lotus sound similar, price is comparable--but no PV for Whisper! ;-)   For the Whisper you fill a small cup with several drops of oil (more than directions recommend!), the water is underneath--cleanup is almost a non-issue as the oil and water literally don't mix, you will need to replace the cups, but they are easily and inexpensively available from AT.  Just my 2 cents on some other options. ;-)   Unfortunately Daniel, don't think these are available in Europe, so not much use to you.

Can he gargle? Or do an oil pull? Either of these might be helpful, but the oil pull would possibly be best so as not to disturb the healing area.
2 tbsp coconut oil, 2 drops clove 2 drops oregano, hold in mouth for 10 minutes moving it around gently. Spit and repeat as needed.

My brother is recovering from tonsil cancer.  They removed the tonsils and radiated the 1 lymph node that was positive.  as a result he is having severe pain inside his throat and down his throat.  He is unable to eat right now and has a feeding tube.  It does not hurt on the outside just the inside.  Any suggestions?

HI there.  About three months ago I asked if anyone had any
information on vitilego.  Not vertigo.  Vitilego is a disease where
you have no pigment and you look (as it spreads) like a burn victim
and this gentleman had this all his life and it had spread to most of
his body.  No hair growth on those areas.  So, with the help of all of
you out there we had him get on the LLV, do the cleanses, and use
bergamot and black pepper topically (thanks Pat).  He forgot (at one
point) that bergaot was citrus and used it and went in the sun and got
burned. but even with all that he is a HAPPY CAMPER!  His pigment is
coming back and he has hair and for a while looked like a little chia
pet!!  Just talked to him last week and he has HAIR everywhere!  He is
really excited.  Just wanted to share.  It just took a while to get it
going.  Awesome Oils and I am so blessed that God gave us this gift
and the knowledge of how to use this gift!  Yeah!
